Segment 1א׳

(שמות כ) לא תִשָּׂא, רָזָא דָּא הָא אוּקְמוּהָ חַבְרַיָּיא. בְּגִין דְּקוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא כַּד שָׁתִיל עָלְמָא, אַטְבַּע גּוֹ תְּהוֹמֵי, צְרוֹרָא חֲדָא, חֲקִיקָא בִּשְׁמָא קַדִּישָׁא, וְאַטְבַּע לָהּ לְגוֹ תְּהוֹמָא. וְכַד מַיָּא בָּעָאן לְסַלְּקָא, חָמָאן רָזָא דִּשְׁמָא קַדִּישָׁא, חָקִיק עַל הַהוּא צְרוֹרָא, וְתַיְיבִין וּמִשְׁתַּקְּעִין, וְהַדְרִין לַאֲחוֹרָא, וּשְׁמָא דָּא קַיְּימָא עַד יוֹמָא דָּא, גּוֹ תְּהוֹמָא.

YOU SHALL NOT TAKE… This mystery the Companions have already explained. For when the Holy One, blessed be He, planted the world, He sank into the depths one stone, engraved with the Holy Name, and sank it down within the deep. And when the waters seek to rise, they see the mystery of the Holy Name engraved upon that stone, and they turn back and are submerged and go backward. And this Name stands to this day within the deep.

Segment 2ב׳

וּבְשַׁעֲתָא דְּאוֹמִין בְּנֵי נָשָׁא עַל קְשׁוֹט, בְּקִיּוּמָא דִּקְשׁוֹט, הַהוּא צְרוֹרָא סַלְּקָא, וּמְקַבְּלָא הַהוּא אוֹמָאָה, וְאַהְדָּר וְאִתְקַיַּים עַל תְּהוֹמָא, וְעָלְמָא אִתְקַיַּים, וְהַהוּא אוֹמָאָה דִּקְשׁוֹט קַיָּים עָלְמָא.

And when men swear upon truth, in the establishment of truth, that stone rises and receives that oath, and it returns and stands firm over the deep, and the world is established; and that oath of truth upholds the world.

Segment 3ג׳

וּבְשַׁעֲתָא דְּאוֹמוּ בְּנֵי נָשָׁא אוֹמָאָה לְשַׁקְּרָא, הַהוּא צְרוֹרָא סַלְּקָא לְקַבְּלָא לָהּ לְהַהִיא אוֹמָאָה, כֵּיוָן דְּחָזֵי דְּאִיהוּ דְּשִׁקְרָא. כְּדֵין הַהוּא צְרוֹרָא דְּהֲוָה סָלִיק, תָּב לַאֲחוֹרָא, וּמַיִין אַזְלִין וְשָׁטִין, וְאַתְוָון דְּהַהוּא צְרוֹרָא, פַּרְחָן גּוֹ תְּהוֹמֵי, וְאִתְבַּדְּרָן, וּבָעָאן מַיָּא לְסַלְּקָא לְחַפְיָיא עָלְמָא, וּלְאַהְדָּרָא לֵיהּ כְּמִלְּקַדְּמִין.

And when men swear an oath falsely, that stone rises to receive that oath; and once it sees that it is false, then that stone, which had risen, turns back, and the waters go and flow, and the letters of that stone fly off into the depths and are scattered; and the waters seek to rise and cover the world and return it as at the first.
