Section 35 of 46 in Sh'lach — 4 segments

Segment 1

Who can tell of those words that are renewed every day before the Head of the Academy? Ah, Rabbi: at every time when the male spirits go up above, at that time the women all go out and gather within the palace of Bithiah there, and they rejoice there in many ancient words. And from there they go out, and they all enter, and she is with them, within the palace of Serah. And they rejoice in many words, new and ancient; and from there they go out, and she is with them, and they enter within the palace of Jochebed. And so in all those palaces.

Segment 2

Now, Rabbi, let me tell you one mystery. Observe: in every sabbatical year a herald goes out: Gather yourselves, men and women, and all those sons of faith, and go up. Then they all divest themselves, males and females, and go up. And all those sucklings at the breast enter within the Academy (a variant reads: Gather yourselves, sons of faith, men and women, and all those sucklings at the breast, and go up. Then they all divest themselves, males and females, and go up; and they all enter within the Academy) of the firmament, and they rejoice with joy, and with their exaltation, and there is joy upon joy. And that Youth, in whose hand are his Master's keys, rises and tells them many words, new and ancient; and they all behold joy, for there is no joy like that joy.

Segment 3

Afterwards they all enter within many curtains, and many palaces that are hidden there, which shine in the pleasantness of the Lord, within the palace of the love of the Holy One, blessed be He. And this is what is written, “To behold the pleasantness of the Lord, and to visit early in His palace” (Ps. 27, 4) (folio 127b; Shemot, folio 113b). Afterwards the little ones fly upward, and they fly downward, and return to their places, and are clothed as at first. Happy is the people for whom all the good of that world waits.
