Section 95 of 129 in Pinchas — 8 segments
Segment 1
From the side of the right she is called a stone. And many precious moist stones are found from her, from which the waters of the Torah go forth. And on their account it was said: R. Akiba said to his disciples, When you reach the stones of pure marble, do not say, “Water, water,” lest you endanger yourselves. Do not say that they are waters, actual waters, because “He who speaks falsehood shall not be established before my eyes” (Ps. 101, 7). For these waters — this is the Torah, of which it is said, “and the Torah is light” (Prov. 6, 23). And because this light wells up in a spring of water, “whose waters do not fail” (Isa. 58, 11), it is called waters.
Segment 2
And from the side of the left, this stone, which is Yod, is called a coal. And from there are the ten sefirot, like a flame bound to the coal. And she has four colours (a variant adds: and ten), which are Yod-Vau-Daleth, He-Aleph, Vau-Aleph-Vau, He-Aleph, the Tetragrammaton. And she is the great hand on the right, the strong hand on the left; the Central Column — from there she is the high hand, comprised of forty-two colours.
Segment 3
And because she is a stone from the side of the right and a coal from the side of the left, by her the Holy One, blessed be He, takes vengeance on Ishmael and Edom, who are strange fires and the proud waters. And their chieftains are Samael and the serpent. Samael, the fire of Gehinnom, is appointed over the nation of Esau; the serpent is appointed over the nation of Ishmael, and he is Rahab, who is appointed over the waters.
