Segment 1א׳
פָּתַח וְאָמַר, (שיר השירים ה׳:א׳) בָּאתִי לְגַנִּי וְכוּ', עד חלבי חסר. נדפס בפרשת ויקרא דף ג' ע"ב. וּבְחִבּוּרָא קַדְמָאָה, (בדף רמ"א ע"א) אָרִיתִי מוֹרִי עִם בְּשָׂמִי, דְּרוֹעָא יְמִינָא בְּיַרְכָא שְׂמָאלָא. אָכַלְתִּי יַעְרִי עִם דִּבְשִׁי, יַעֲקֹב בְּרָחֵל. שָׁתִיתִי יֵינִי עִם חֲלָבִי, דְּרוֹעָא שְׂמָאלָא בְּיַרְכָא יְמִינָא. דְּרוֹעָא יְמִינָא בְּיַרְכָא שְׂמָאלָא, אִינּוּן חֶסֶד עִם הוֹד. יַעֲקֹב בְּרָחֵל, עַמּוּדָא דְּאֶמְצָעִיתָא בַּמַּלְכוּת. דְּרוֹעָא שְׂמָאלָא בְּיַרְכָא יְמִינָא גְּבוּרָה בְּנֶצַח.
He opened and said (Song of Songs 5:1) "I have come to my garden etc.", until "my milk" lacking. It was printed in parasha Wayyiqra page 3b. And in the first redaction: “I have gathered my myrrh with my balsam…”[Song of Songs 5:1], right arm with left thigh. “I have eaten my honeycomb with my honey”, Jacob and Rachel. “I have drunk my wine with my milk”, left arm with right thigh. Right arm with left thigh, these are Chesed with Hod. Jacob and Rachel, the Pillar of the Center with Malkut. Left arm with right thigh, Gevurah with Netsach.

וַאֲמַאי שְׁנֵי מִדּוֹת דִּילֵיהּ הָכִי. אֶלָּא רָזָא דְּנֵימָא הָכָא, דָּוִד אָמַר הָכָא, (תהילים קל״ב:ט׳) כֹּהֲנֶיךָ יִלְבְּשׁוּ צֶדֶק וַחֲסִידֶיךָ יְרַנֵּנוּ. וְאִתְּמַר הָתָם, וּלְוִיֶּיךָ מִבָּעֵי לֵיהּ לְמֵימַר. אָמַר קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא לָאו אֹרַח לְשַׁנּוֹת מִדּוֹתַי, אֶלָּא בָּתַר דְּזַמֵּינָת לִי, אִית לִי לְמֶעְבַּד רְעוּתָךְ. וּמֵהָכָא אוֹלִיפְנָא, דְּבַעַל הַבַיִת דִּמְזַמִּין אֲפִילּוּ לְמַלְכָּא, אִית לֵיהּ לְמֶעְבַּד רְעוּתֵיהּ. וּבְגִין דָּא אוֹקְמוּהָ, כָּל מַה שֶׁאוֹמֵר לָךְ בַּעַל הַבַּיִת עֲשֵׂה חוּץ מִצֵּא. וְעִם כָּל דָּא דְּרָזָא דָּא שַׁפִּיר אִיהוּ, הָא כְּתִיב (מלאכי ג׳:ו׳) אֲנִי יְיָ לֹא שָׁנִיתִי, וּבְכָל קָרְבְּנִין לָא כְּתִיב בְּהוֹן אֶלָּא לַיְדוָֹד, אֵיךְ יָכִיל לְמֶהֱוִי דִּיְּשַׁנֵּי דַּרְגִין דִּשְׁמֵיהּ בְּקָרְבְּנָא.
And why are there two of his attributes here? Because a secret is said thus, David said here: “Your priests will be clothed in righteousness and your devout ones will rejoice [Psalms 132:9]. It is written there, [but] ‘and your Levites will rejoice’ it should have said. The Holy One, blessed be He, said: ‘it is not customary to change my attributes, but after you have invited me, I must do after your wish.’ From this we are taught that the master of the house, when he invites even the king, the king must do after his [= the master of the house’s] wish. And because of this we have been taught: “all what the master of the house will say, do, except to leave” [Babylonian Talmud, Pesachim 86b]. And if it thus that this is a fitting secret, this is written:...
Segment 3ג׳
אֶלָּא, אָרִיתִי מוֹרִי: יוֹצֵר אוֹר. עִם בְּשָׂמִי: אַהֲבַת עוֹלָם. אָכַלְתִּי יַעְרִי: שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל. עִם דִּבְשִׁי: בָּרוּךְ שֵׁם כְּבוֹד מַלְכוּתוֹ לְעוֹלָם וָעֶד. שָׁתִיתִי יֵינִי: וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמוֹעַ, עַד וַיֹּאמֶר. עִם חֲלָבִי: מִן וַיֹּאמֶר, עַד אֱמֶת. אִכְלוּ רֵעִים: ג' רִאשׁוֹנוֹת, וְג' אַחֲרוֹנוֹת. שְׁתוּ וְשִׁכְרוּ דּוֹדִים: שְׁאַר בִּרְכָאן דִּצְלוֹתָא.
Rather: “I have gathered my myrrh” — “Who forms light.” “With my spice” — “With everlasting love.” “I have eaten my honeycomb” — “Hear, O Israel.” “With my honey” — “Blessed be the name of the glory of His kingdom for ever and ever.” “I have drunk my wine” — “And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken,” up to “And He said.” “With my milk” — from “And He said” up to “True.” “Eat, O friends” — the first three and the last three. “Drink, drink abundantly, O beloved” — the rest of the blessings of the prayer.
