Segment 1א׳

תְּרֵין רְצוּעִין נָפְקִין, מִסִּטְרָא דָּא וּמִסִּטְרָא דָּא, רָזָא דִּתְרֵין יַרְכִין דִּלְתַּתָּא דְּהַאי א"ח, דִּנְבִיאֵי קְשׁוֹט אֲחִידָן בְּהוּ. דְּהָא מִלְּעֵילָּא נָפְקִין תְּרֵין רְצוּעִין, רָזָא דִּתְרֵין דְּרוֹעִין, מִימִינָא וּמִשְּׂמָאלָא, וְדָלֶ"ת אִתְאֲחִידַת בְּהוּ. לְבָתַר נַחְתָּא, וְאִתְפְּשָׁטוּ יַרְכִין לְתַתָּא. כֵּיוָן דְּהִיא אִתְאֲחִידַת לְעֵילָּא כַּדְּקָא יָאוּת, נַחְתָּא לְתַתָּא, לְאִתְאַחֲדָא בְּאֻכְלוּסָהָא. וְכַד אִיהִי אִתְאַחֲדָת, אֲחִידָא בְּשִׁפּוּלֵי יַרְכִין, וּרְשִׁימוּ דְּיוֹד בְּרִית קַדִּישָׁא עָלָהּ מִלְּעֵילָּא, כְּדֵין אִיהִי אִתְאַחֲדָת בְּיִחוּדָא חַד.

Two straps go forth, from this side and from that side — the mystery of the two lower thighs of this Aleph-Heth, on which the true prophets take hold. For from above two straps go forth, the mystery of the two arms, from the right and from the left, and the Daleth is held by them. Afterwards she descends, and the thighs spread out below. Once she is held above as is fitting, she descends below to be united with her multitudes. And when she is united, she is held at the lower ends of the thighs, and the impress of the Yod, the holy covenant, is upon her from above; then she is united in one unity.

Segment 2ב׳

יוֹ"ד דָּא אִיהִי רָזָא דִּבְרִית, (ועל דא) כָּל מַאן דְּנָטַר בְּרִית דָּא, אִיהוּ אִשְׁתְּזִיב לְעֵילָּא, וְאִשְׁתְּזִיב לְתַתָּא. (מנא לן) פִּנְחָס, בְּגִין דְּאִיהוּ קַנֵּי עַל בְּרִית דָּא, אִשְׁתְּזִיב מִן דִּינָא עִלָּאָה, וּמִן דִּינָא דִּלְתַּתָּא, וּבְגִין כָּךְ אִתְרְשִׁם יוֹ"ד דָּא בְּגַוִּויהּ, הֲדָא הוּא דִכְתִיב, פִּינְחָס בֶּן אֶלְעָזָר בֶּן אַהֲרֹן הַכֹּהֵן וְגוֹ'.

This Yod is the mystery of the covenant. (a variant adds: And therefore) whoever guards this covenant is saved above and saved below. (a variant adds: How do we know?) Phineas: because he was zealous for this covenant, he was saved from the supernal judgement and from the judgement below; and therefore this Yod was impressed within him. This is what is written, “Phineas, the son of Eleazar, the son of Aaron the priest,” etc.

Segment 3ג׳

יוֹ"ד דָּא, אִצְטְרִיךְ דְּלָא יִתְעֲדֵי כְּלָל מִגּוֹ תְּפִלָּה דְּיַד, דְּלָא יַעְבִּיד פִּרוּדָא. וְכָל חֶדְוָה דִּילָהּ, בְּהַאי י'. אִיהוּ יוֹ"ד דָּא בִּדְכוּרָא אִיהִי, וְלָא בְּנוּקְבָּא, אִיהוּ צַדִּיק, וְאִיהִי צֶדֶק. וּבְגִין כַּךְ, אִתְקְרִיבַת בַּהֲדָהּ, וּמַאן דְּרָחִיק לֵיהּ מֵאֲתָר דָּא, רָחִיק הוּא מֵעִדּוּנָא דְּעָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי.

This Yod must never be removed from within the phylactery of the hand, so as not to make a separation. And all her joy is in this Yod. This Yod is in the male, and not in the female: he is tzaddik (righteous), and she is tzedek (righteousness). And therefore she is brought near with him; and whoever distances him from this place is distant from the delight of the world to come.
