Section 71 of 129 in Pinchas — 7 segments
Segment 1
Netzach and hod are two halves of the body, like two twins; and therefore they are called Shehakim. The two of them together are Vau-Vau, from veshet, from the side of the left; and they are the two grinders, from the side of the right.
Segment 2
“And Moses took the bones of Joseph with him” (Ex. 13, 19): the bones of the Righteous One, the foundation of the worlds, the grade of Joseph the Righteous. And of them it is said, “My offering, My bread for My fire-offerings.” And there is no bread but Torah: “Come, eat of my bread” (Prov. 9, 5). And they are the clusters of the Righteous One; and the Righteous One is a fruit-tree. And because of him it is said, “and they bore it upon a pole between two” (Num. 13, 23). And why “upon a pole”? Because the Righteous One was not there.
Segment 3
And because of them it is said of him, “He will never suffer the righteous to be moved (mot)” (Ps. 55, 23) — for he is the tree, of which it is said, “whether there is a tree in it or not” (Num. 13, 20). They uprooted the tree, which is the Righteous One — those who brought out an evil report upon the land; and they brought about “and they bore it upon a pole between two”: Vau, Vau.
