Section 49 of 129 in Pinchas — 19 segments
Segment 1
And the Rabbis explained it: Whoever recites the Shema evening and morning, it is as though he fulfils “and you shall meditate on it day and night” (Josh. 1, 8). For the white garment is to the right, from the side of chesed. And it is said: “God, King, who sits upon the throne of mercy and conducts Himself with piety.” “And a throne is established in lovingkindness” (Isa. 16, 5). Chesed mounts up to seventy-two links and knots of the garment.
Segment 2
And there is a garment from the side of Metatron, who is Teth-Teth, comprising eighteen, between knots and links on each side: five knots, corresponding to the five books of the Torah; and thirteen links, corresponding to the thirteen attributes of mercy of the Torah, of which it is said: By thirteen rules the Torah is expounded.
Segment 3
And for its sake it is said, “as the appearance of a man upon it above”: in the image of tiferet, which is “the beauty of a man” upon it above. And it is called by His name, Yod-Vau-Daleth, He-Aleph, Vau-Aleph-Vau, He-Aleph: “Every one that is called by My name, and whom I have created for My glory, I have formed him, yea, I have made him” (Isa. 43, 7). And above, “as the appearance of a man” — this is the Shekinah, which is as the vision of the Central Column, in four faces and in ten sefirot, which are Adam. And the four faces of Adam are four letters; and they are fourteen letters, and by them, “and by the hand of the prophets have I used similitudes (adammeh)” (Hos. 12, 11).
