Segment 1א׳

היכל קודש הקדשים דזעיר דבריאה הֵיכָלָא שְׁבִיעָאָה. הֵיכָלָא דָּא, הֵיכָלָא פְּנִימָאָה מִכָּל הָנִי הֵיכָלִין. הַאי הֵיכָלָא אִיהוּ סְתִימוּ, דְּלָאו בֵּיהּ דִּיּוּקְנָא מַמָּשׁ, וְלֵית גּוּפָא כְּלַל. הָכָא סְתִימוּ דְּגוֹ רָזָא דְּרָזִין, הַאי אִיהוּ רָזָא, דְּאִיהוּ אֲתָר, לְאַעֲלָא תַּמָּן בְּגוֹ אִינּוּן צִנּוֹרִין דִּלְעֵילָּא. רוּחָא דְּכָל רוּחִין, רַעֲוָון דְּכָל רַעֲוִוין, לְאִתְחַבְּרָא כֹּלָּא כַּחֲדָא. רוּחָא דְּחַיֵּי (דהא) בְּהַאי, לְמֶהוֵי כֹּלָּא תִּקּוּנָא חֲדָא.

The Palace of the Holy of Holies, of the Small of Countenance, of Beriah (creation). The seventh palace. This palace is the innermost palace of all these palaces. This palace is concealment, in which there is no actual form, and there is no body at all. Here is the concealment within the mystery of mysteries. This is the mystery: that it is a place for entering there, within those supernal channels. The spirit of all spirits, the desire of all desires, for all to be joined together. The spirit of life (a variant reads: for) is in this, so that all may be one setting in order.

Segment 2ב׳

הֵיכָלָא דָּא, אִקְרֵי (רנ"ה ע"ב) בֵּית קֹדֶשׁ הַקָּדָשִׁים. אֲתָר לָקֳבְלָא הַאי (ס"א נשמתא עלאה) נִשְׁמָתִין עִילָּאִין, דְּאִקְרֵי הָכִי, לְאַתְעֲרָא עָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי לְגַבֵּיהּ.

This palace is called (folio 255b) the house of the Holy of Holies: a place to receive these supernal souls (a variant reads: the supernal soul), which is so called, to rouse the world to come toward it.

Segment 3ג׳

הַאי עָלְמָא עוֹלָם אִקְרֵי. עוֹלָם: סְלִיקָא, דְּסָלִיק עָלְמָא תַּתָּאָה לְגַבֵּי עָלְמָא עִלָּאָה, וְאִסְתַּתָּר בְּגַוֵוהּ, וְאִתְעַלָם בֵּיהּ, אִתְגַּלְיָיא בִּסְתִּירָה. עוֹלָם: דְּסָלִיק אִיהוּ, בְּכָל אִינּוּן דְּקַרְבִין בֵּיהּ, וְאִסְתַּתְּרָן גּוֹ סְתִירוּ עִלָּאָה. עוֹלָם עִלָּאָה: סָלִיק וְאִסְתַּתָּר בִּרְעוּתָא עִלָּאָה, גּוֹ טְמִירוּ דְּכָל טְמִירִין דְּלָא אִתְיְידַע כְּלַל (כלל), וְלָא אִתְגְּלֵי, וְלֵית מַאן דְּיָדַע לֵיהּ.

This world is called olam. Olam — an ascending: for the lower world ascends toward the supernal world, and is hidden within it and is concealed (ne’elam) within it; it is revealed in concealment. Olam: it ascends in all those who draw near to it, and they are hidden within the supernal hiding. The supernal olam: it ascends and is hidden in the supernal desire, within the most hidden of all hidden things, which is not known at all (a variant reads: at all), and is not revealed, and there is none that knows it.

Segment 4ד׳

פָּרוֹכְתָּא דְּפַרְסָא פְּרִיסָא, חַפְיָּא גּוֹ טְמִירוּ סָתִים. כַּפּוֹרְתָא פְּרִיסָא גּוֹ טְמִירִין עִלָּאִין, לְאַסְתְּמָא סְתִימִין דְּהָא טְמִירִין וּסְתִימִין. (נ"א פרוכתא פריסא גו טהירין עילאין דסתמא סתימא דהאי טמיר וסתים) לְגוֹ מִן כַּפּוֹרְתָא, אִית אֲתָר סָתִים וְטָמִיר וְגָנִיז, לְאַכְנָשָׁא לֵיהּ בְּגַוֵיהּ. מְשַׁח רְבוּת עִלָּאָה, רוּחָא דְּחַיֵּי, עַל יְדָא דְּהַהוּא נָהָר דְּנָגִיד וְנָפִיק, וְהַהוּא נָהָר אִקְרֵי מַבּוּעָא דְּבֵירָא, דְּלָא פַּסְקִין מֵימוֹי לְעָלְמִין. וְכַד הַאי עָיֵיל וְנָגִיד כָּל הַהוּא רְבוּת קוּדְשָׁא מִלְּעֵילָּא, מֵאֲתָר דְקֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים. נְהִירוּ נְגִידוּ נָחִית וְאָתֵי, גּוֹ אִינּוּן צִנּוֹרִין. הַאי אִתְמַלְּיָיא מִתַּמָּן, כְּנוּקְבָּא דְּמִתְעַבְּרָא וְאִתְמַלְּיָא מִן דְּכוּרָא.

A curtain of a spread screen is spread out, covering within a hidden concealment. The mercy seat is spread within the supernal hidden things, to conceal the concealed things, which are hidden and concealed. (A variant reads: a curtain is spread within the supernal brightnesses, which conceals the concealed thing, for this is hidden and concealed.) Within the mercy seat there is a place concealed and hidden and treasured, to gather it within it: the supernal anointing oil, the spirit of life, by the hand of that river which flows and issues. And that river is called the wellspring of the well, whose waters never cease. And when this enters and draws all that holy anointing from above, from the place of the Holy of Holies, a light, a flowing, comes down and comes within those channels. This one is filled from there, like a female that conceives and is filled from the male.

Segment 5ה׳

אוּף הָכִי נָמֵי הַאי הֵיכָלָא, מִתְתַקְנָא תָּדִיר לְקַבְּלָא, כְּנוּקְבָּא דִּמְקַבְּלָא מִן דְּכוּרָא. קַבִּילוּ דְּקַבִּילוּ, כָּל אִינּוּן רוּחִין וְנִשְׁמָתִין קַדִישִׁין דְּנַחְתִין לְעָלְמָא, וְאִתְעַבְּרוּ (ס"א ואתעכבו) תַּמָּן. כָּל הַהוּא זִמְנָא דְּאִצְטְרִיךְ.

So too this palace is set in order continually to receive, like a female that receives from the male. A receiving upon a receiving: all those holy spirits and souls that come down into the world, and they passed through (a variant reads: and they were held back) there all that time which is needed.
