זוהר, פקודי נ׳Zohar, Pekudei 50

Segment 1א׳

היכל אהבה חס"ד הֵיכָלָא חֲמִישָׁאָה, הֵיכָלָא דָּא קַיְּימָא לְאַנְהָרָא לְאִלֵּין תַּתָּאֵי. וְהַאי אִיהוּ הֵיכָלָא דְּקַיְּימָא לְאַנְהָרָא בְּרָזָא דִּמְהֵימְנוּתָא. פִּתְחָא חֲדָא קַיְּימָא בְּהַאי הֵיכָלָא, וְחַד מְמָנָא עָלֵיהּ, וְהַהוּא מְמָנָא אִקְרֵי סָנִיגוֹרְיָ"ה. הַאי מְמָנָא קַיְּימָא עַל פִּתְחָא דָּא, בְּגִין לְמֵילַף (ס"א סניגוריא עלייהו דישראל ובגין דא אקרי שמיה כך דהא איהו ממנא על כל אינון טבין דישראל למיעל) סַנֵּיגוֹרָא דִּלְהוֹן, קַמֵּיהּ דְּמָארֵיהוֹן. וְלָא יִשְׁלוֹט עָלַיְיהוּ סִטְרָא אַחֲרָא.

The Palace of Ahavah (love) — chesed (lovingkindness). The fifth palace. This palace stands to give light to these lower ones. And this is the palace that stands to give light in the mystery of faith. One door stands in this palace, and one chieftain is over it, and that chieftain is called Sanigoriah. This chieftain stands over this door in order to plead (a variant reads: advocacy on behalf of Israel; and therefore his name is called so, for he is the chieftain over all those good things of Israel, to bring them in) their advocacy before their Master, and that the other side should not have dominion over them.

Segment 2ב׳

בְּהֵיכָלָא דָּא, קַיְּימָא חַד רוּחָא, דְּכָלִיל בְּאַרְבַּע, דְּהָא רוּחָא דָּא כָּלִיל בְּאַרְבַּע גְּוָונִין, חִוָּור וְאוּכָם יָרוֹק וְסוּמָק. וְהַאי אִיהוּ רוּחָא דְּקַיְּימָא כָּלִיל בְּכֹלָּא, וְאִקְרֵי סוּרִיָּ"ה, רַב עַל כָּל אִינּוּן חַיָּילִין תַּתָּאִין. וְכֻלְּהוּ קַיְימִין תְּחוֹתֵיהּ, וּמְמָנָן תְּחוֹת יְדֵיהּ.

In this palace there stands one spirit that is comprised of four; for this spirit is comprised of four colours — white and black, green and red. And this is the spirit that stands comprised in all, and it is called Suriah, chief over all those lower hosts. And they all stand beneath him, and chieftains are under his hand.

Segment 3ג׳

הַאי רוּחָא, דְּסָגִיר וּפָתַח. כָּל מַפְתְּחָאן עִלָּאִין כֻּלְּהוּ אִתְמַסְרָן בִּידֵיהּ. (תלת זמנין ביומא) כָּל חַיָּילִין תַּתָּאִין, כֻּלְּהוּ אִתְכְּלִילָן וְקַיְימָן תְּחוֹתֵיהּ, וּמִנֵּיהּ אִתְזָנוּ. הַאי קַיְּימָא בְּכָל רָזִין דְּמָארֵיהּ, כָּל גְּנִזִין עִלָּאִין כֻּלְּהוּ אִתְמַסְרָן בִּידֵיהּ.

This spirit closes and opens. All the supernal keys are all delivered into his hand. (Three times a day.) All the lower hosts are all comprised and stand beneath him, and from him they are nourished. This one stands in all the mysteries of his Master; all the supernal treasures are all delivered into his hand.
