רעיא מהימנא (מ) כִּי יִנָּצוּ אֲנָשִׁים. אִלֵּין, מִיכָאֵל וְס"מ. וְנָגְפוּ אִשָּׁה הָרָה, דָּא כְּנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְיָצְאוּ יְלָדֶיהָ, בְּגָלוּתָא. עָנוֹשׁ יֵעָנֵשׁ, דָּא ס"מ, כַּאֲשֶׁר יָשִׁית עָלָיו בַּעַל הָאִשָּׁה, דָּא קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא.
Ra'aya Meheimna (the Faithful Shepherd). “If men strive together” — these are Michael and Samael. “And hurt a woman with child” — this is the Community of Israel. “So that her fruit depart” — into exile. “He shall be surely fined” — this is Samael. “According as the woman’s husband shall lay upon him” — this is the Holy One, blessed be He.
