Segment 1א׳

תּוּ אִתְפְּשַׁט דְּכוּרָא בִּימִינָא וּשְׂמָאלָא, בְּיָרוּתָא דְּאַחֲסָנָא. וְכַד גְּוָונֵי אִתְחַבְּרוּ, אִקְרֵי תִּפְאֶרֶת. וְאִתְתְּקַּן כָּל גּוּפָא, וְאִתְעָבִיד אִילָנָא רַבְרְבָא, וְתַקִּיף, שַׁפִּיר וְיָאֶה, (דניאל ד׳:ט׳) תְּחוֹתוֹהִי תַּטְלֵל חֵיוַת בָּרָא, וּבְעַנְפּוֹהִי יְדוּרוֹן עוֹפֵי שְׁמַיָא, וּמָזוֹן לְכֹלָּא בֵּיהּ. דְּרוֹעוֹי יְמִינָא וּשְׂמָאלָא. בִּימִינָא חַיִּים וָחֶסֶד, בִּשְׂמָאלָא מִיתָה וּגְבוּרָה. מֵעוֹי, אִתְתָּקַּן בְּדַעַת, וְאִתְמַלְיָין כָּל אַכְסַדְרִין וְאִדָּרִין, כְּמָה דַּאֲמֵינָא, דִּכְתִּיב, (משלי כ״ד:ד׳) וּבְדַעַת חֲדָרִים יִמָּלְאוּ.

Further, the male spread out to the right and to the left, in the inheritance of the heritage. And when the colours were joined, it is called tiferet (beauty). And the whole body was set in order and became a great tree, and mighty, fair and comely: “the beasts of the field had shadow under it, and the fowls of the heaven dwelt in its branches, and in it was food for all” (Dan. 4, 9). His arms, right and left: in the right, life and chesed; in the left, death and gevurah. His bowels were set in order in knowledge, and all the halls and chambers were filled, as I have said, as it is written, “And by knowledge are the chambers filled” (Prov. 24, 4).

Segment 2ב׳

תּוּ אִתְפְּשָׁט גּוּפָא, בִּתְרֵין שׁוֹקִין. וּמִתְאַחֲדָן בֵּינַיְיהוּ תְּרֵין כּוּלְיָין, וּתְרֵין בֵּיעֵי דִּדְכוּרָא. דְּכָל מִשְׁחָא וּרְבוּת וְחֵילָא (דדכורא) דְּכָל גּוּפָא, בְּהוּ אִתְכְּנַשׁ, דְּכָל חַיָּילִין דְּנָפִיק, מִנְּהוֹן נָפְקִין. וְשַׁרְיָין כֹּלָּא בְּפוּם אַמָּה. וּבְגִין כָּךְ אִקְרוּן צְבָאוֹת, (דכל גופא, בהו אתכנש, ושריין כלא בפום אמה. ובגין כך אקרון צבאות, דכל חיילין (דנפקי) דנפיק, מנהון נפקי) וְאִינּוּן נֶצַח וְהוֹד. תִּפְאֶרֶת, יְדוָֹ"ד. נֶצַח וְהוֹד, צְבָאוֹת. וּבְגִין כָּךְ יְדוָֹ"ד צְבָאוֹת.

Further, the body spread out into two thighs. And between them are held two kidneys, and the two testicles of the male. For all the oil and anointing and strength (a variant adds: of the male) of the whole body is gathered in them; for all the hosts that go forth go forth from them. And all rest in the mouth of the member. And therefore they are called Zebaoth (hosts) (a variant reads: of the whole body, is gathered in them, and all rest in the mouth of the member; and therefore they are called Zebaoth, for all the hosts that go forth, go forth from them), and they are netzach and hod (majesty). Tiferet: the Tetragrammaton. Netzach and hod: Zebaoth. And therefore: the Tetragrammaton Zebaoth.

Segment 3ג׳

אַמָּה דִּדְכוּרָא, סִיּוּמָא (נ"א כסותא) דְּכָל גּוּפָא, וְאִקְרֵי יְסוֹד. וְדָא הוּא דַּרְגָּא דִּמְבַסֵּם לְנוּקְבָּא. וְכָל תִּיאוּבְתָּא דִּדְכוּרָא לְגַבֵּי נוּקְבָּא, בְּהַאי יְסוֹד עַיִּיל לְנוּקְבָּא, לְאֲתָר דְּאִקְרֵי צִיּוֹן. דְּהָתָם הוּא אֲתָר כְּסוּתָא דְּנוּקְבָּא, כְּבֵית רֶחֶם לְאִתְּתָא. וּבְגִין כָּךְ, יְיָ' צְבָאוֹת אִקְרֵי יְסוֹד.

The member of the male, the end (a variant reads: the covering) of the whole body, is called yesod (foundation). And this is the grade that sweetens the female. And all the desire of the male toward the female enters the female through this yesod, to the place that is called Zion. For there is the place of the covering of the female, like the womb in a woman. And therefore the Tetragrammaton Zebaoth is called yesod.
