Segment 1א׳

אַנְפּוֹי, כִּתְרִין תַּקְרוֹבִין דְּבוּסְמָא. (כלהו) סַהֲדוּתָא עַל מַה דַּאֲמֵינָא, דְּהָא סַהֲדוּתָא בְּהוּ תַּלְיָא. וּבְכֹלָּא תַּלְיָא סַהֲדוּתָא. אֲבָל הָנֵי תַּקְרוֹבֵי דְּבוּסְמָא, חִוָּורָא וְסוּמָקָא, סַהֲדוּתָא לְאַבָּא וְאִימָּא. סַהֲדוּתָא לְאַחְסְנָא דְּיָרִית וְאָחִיד לוֹן. וְהָא בְּמַתְנִיתָא דִּילָן אוֹקִימְנָא, כַּמָה פָּרְסֵי בֵּין חִוָּורָא לְסוּמָקָא, וְאִתְכְּלִילָן בֵּיהּ כַּחֲדָא בְּסִטְרָא דְּחִוָּורָא.

His face: like two offerings of spice. (a variant adds: All of them) Testimony to what I have said, for testimony hangs on them, and on all hangs testimony. But these offerings of spice, white and red, are testimony to the Father and the Mother, testimony to the inheritance that He inherits, and He holds them. And behold, in our Mishnah we have established how many parasangs there are between the white and the red; and they are comprised in it together on the side of the white.

Segment 2ב׳

כַּד אִתְנְהִיר מִנְהִירוּ דְּחִוָּורָא דְּעַתִּיקָא, חַפְיָּיא הַהוּא חִוָּורָא עַל סוּמָקָא. וְכֻלְּהוּ בִּנְהִירוּ אִשְׁתְּכַח. וּכְדֵין כְּתִיב, (במדבר ו׳:כ״ה) יָאֵר יְיָ' פָּנָיו אֵלֶיךָ. וְכַד חַיָּיבִין סַגִיאִין, תַּלְיָין דִּינִין בְּעָלְמָא, אִשְׁתְּכָחַת סְגִירוּתָא בְּכֹלָּא (ס"א בעלמא). וְסוּמָקָא אִתְפְּשַׁט בְּאַנְפִּין, וְחָפָא כָּל (נ"א על) חִוָּורָא. וּכְדֵין כֹּלָּא אִשְׁתְּכַח בְּדִינָא. וּכְדֵין כְּתִיב (תהילים ל״ד:י״ז) פְּנֵי יְיָ' בְּעוֹשֵׂי רָע. (בגדי קנאה כתיב (ישעיהו נ״ט:י״ז) בגדי נקם) וְכֹלָּא בְּהַאי תַּלְיָיא, וּבְגִין דָּא סַהֲדוּתָא הוּא בְּכֹלָּא.

When it is lit by the light of the white of the Ancient One, that white covers the red, and all of them are found in light; and then it is written, “The Lord make His face to shine upon you” (Num. 6, 25). And when the wicked are many, judgements hang in the world, a closing-up is found in all (a variant reads: in the world), and the red spreads in the face and covers all (a variant reads: over) the white; and then all is found in judgement. And then it is written, “The face of the Lord is against them that do evil” (Ps. 34, 17). (a variant adds: “Garments of jealousy” is written — “garments of vengeance” (Isa. 59, 17).) And all hangs on this; and therefore it is testimony in all.

Segment 3ג׳

כַּמָה וְכַמָּה מָארֵי תְּרִיסִין מְחַכָּאן לְהָנֵי גְּוָונֵי, מְצַפָּאן לְהָנֵי גְּוָונֵי. כַּד נְהִירִין גְּוָונֵי, כָּל עָלְמִין כֻּלְּהוּ בְּחֵדוּ. בְּזִמְנָא דְּנָהִיר חִוָּורָא, כֹּלָּא אִתְחָזוּ בְּהַהוּא גַּוְונָא. וְכַד אִתְחֲזֵי בְּסוּמָקָא כֹּלָּא הָכִי אִתְחָזוּ בְּהַהוּא גַּוְונָא.

How many, how many lords of shields wait for these colours, look out for these colours! When the colours shine, all the worlds, all of them, are in joy. At the time when the white shines, all are seen in that colour; and when it is seen in the red, all are likewise seen in that colour.
