Segment 1א׳
בְּהַהוּא זִמְנָא, פִּקּוּדָא לִתְקוֹעַ שׁוֹפַר תְּרוּעָה בַּיוֹבֵל, הֲדָא הוּא דִכְתִיב, (ישעיהו י״ח:ג׳) כִּנְשׂא נֵס הָרִים תִּרְאוּ וְכִתְקוֹעַ שׁוֹפָר תִּשְׁמָעוּ. כְּגַוְונָא דְּבִתְקִיעַת שׁוֹפָר דְּיוֹבְלָא, כֻּלְּהוּ עַבְדִּין נָפְקֵי לְחֵירוּת, הָכִי בְּפוּרְקָנָא בַּתְרַיְיתָא, בִּתְקִיעַת שׁוֹפָר, מִתְכַּנְּשִׁין כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵאַרְבַּע סִטְרֵי עָלְמָא, דְּאִינּוּן עַבְדִּין דְּיוֹבְלָא. דְּמָארֵי תּוֹרָה, אִית בְּהוֹן עַבְדִּין עַל מְנָת לְקַבֵּל פְּרָס, וְאִתְקְרִיאוּ עַבְדֵי מַלְכָּא וּמַטְרוֹנִיתָא. אֲבָל בְּנוֹי דְּמַלְכָּא קַדִּישָׁא, (שמות י״ט:ד׳) וָאֶשָּׂא אֶתְכֶם עַל כַּנְפֵי נְשָׁרִים וָאָבִיא אֶתְכֶם אֵלָי, דְּאִינּוּן גַּדְפֵּי חֵיוָון דְּמֶרְכַּבְתָּא.
At that time there is the precept to sound the shofar of the blast in the Jubilee. This is as it is written, “when a banner is lifted up on the mountains you shall see, and when the shofar is sounded you shall hear” (Isa. 18, 3). Just as at the sounding of the shofar of the Jubilee all the servants go out to freedom, so at the last redemption, at the sounding of the shofar, all Israel are gathered in from the four sides of the world, they being the servants of the Jubilee. Among the masters of the Torah there are those who serve in order to receive a reward, and they are called the servants of the King and of the Matrona. But the sons of the holy King — “and I bore you on eagles’ wings and brought you to Myself” (Ex. 19, 4) — these are the wings of the living creatures of the Chariot.
Segment 2ב׳
פִּקּוּדָא בָּתַר דָּא, לָתֵת לַלְּוִיִּם עָרִים לָשָׁבֶת. וּבְגִין דְּאִינּוּן לָא אִשְׁתָּתָּפוּ בַּעֶגְלָא, קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא חָלַק לוֹן לְגַבֵּיהּ. לְמֶהֱוִי מְנַגְּנִין לֵיהּ בְּכַמָּה מִינֵי נִגּוּן. דְּכֹהֲנִים בַּעֲבוֹדָתָן, וּלְוִיִּים לְשִׁירָם וּלְזִמְרָם, וְיִשְׂרָאֵל לִנְוִיהֶם. כֹּהֲנִים בַּעֲבוֹדָתָם, דְּאִית תַּמָּן כַּמָה פִּקוּדִין.
The precept after this is to give the Levites cities to dwell in. And because they had no part in the calf, the Holy One, blessed be He, allotted them to Himself, that they should make music before Him with many kinds of song: the priests at their service, the Levites at their song and their hymn, and Israel at their dwellings. The priests at their service — for there are many commandments there.

פִּקּוּדָא חַד, לַעֲשׂוֹת שֶׁמֶן הַמִּשְׁחָה. ב', לְוִיִּים שׁוֹמְרִין בַּמִקְדָּשׁ. ג' יִשְׂרָאֵל לִירָא מִן הַמִּקְדָּשׁ. ד', עֲבוֹדַת הַלְּוִיִּים בְּבֵית הַמִּקְדָּשׁ. ה', לְהַקְטִיר קְטֹרֶת פַּעֲמַיִם. ו', כֹּהֲנִים תּוֹקְעִים בַּחֲצּוֹצְּרוֹת בַּמִקְדָּשׁ. ז', לְקַדֵּשׁ זְרַע אַהֲרֹן בַּמִקְדָּשׁ. ח', לִלְבּוֹשׁ בִּגְדֵי כְּהוּנָה בַּמִקְדָּשׁ. ט', רְחִיצַּת יָדַיִם וְרַגְלַיִם, לַעֲבוֹד בַּמִקְדָּשׁ.
One precept: to make the oil of anointing. Two: the Levites to keep watch in the Sanctuary. Three: Israel to revere the Sanctuary. Four: the service of the Levites in the Temple. Five: to burn the incense twice. Six: the priests to sound the trumpets in the Sanctuary. Seven: to sanctify the seed of Aaron in the Sanctuary. Eight: to wear the priestly garments in the Sanctuary. Nine: the washing of hands and feet, to serve in the Sanctuary.
