Segment 1א׳

רעיא מהימנא וּבַשָּׁנָה הַשְּׁבִיעִית שַׁבָּת שַׁבָּתוֹן וְגוֹ'. פִּקּוּדָא דָּא לִשְׁבּוֹת בַּשָּׁנָה הַשְּׁבִיעִית וַאֲבַתְרֵיהּ לִשְׁבּוֹת בַּשְּׁבִיעִי. וַאֲבַתְרֵיהּ לְהַשְׁמִיט כְּסָפִים בַּשְּׁבִיעִית. וַאֲבָתְרֵיהּ לִמְנוֹת שֶׁבַע שָׁנִים שֶׁבַע פְּעָמִים וְהָיוּ לְךָ יְמֵי שֶׁבַע שַׁבָּתוֹת הַשָּׁנִים תֵּשַׁע וְאַרְבָּעִים שָׁנָה. הָכָא רָזָא דְּכָל שְׁבִיעִיּוֹת, מִסִּטְרָא דִּשְׁכִינְתָּא דְּאִתְקְרִיאַת שֶׁבַע מִסִּטְרָא דְּצַּדִּיק דְּאִיהוּ שְׁבִיעִי לַבִּינָה, וְאִיהִי בַּת שֶׁבַע, מִסִּטְרָא דְּאִימָא עִלָּאָה, דְּאִתְּמַר בָּהּ (תהילים קי״ט:קס״ד) שֶׁבַע בַּיוֹם הִלַּלְתִּיךָ.

Ra'aya Meheimna (the Faithful Shepherd). “And in the seventh year there shall be a sabbath of solemn rest,” etc. This precept is to rest in the seventh year; and after it, to rest on the seventh day; and after it, to release debts in the seventh year; and after it, to count seven years seven times: “and the days of the seven sabbaths of years shall be for you forty-nine years.” Here is the mystery of all the sevenths: from the side of the Shekinah, who is called Seven from the side of the Righteous One, who is the seventh from binah (understanding); and she is Bath-Sheba, the daughter of seven, from the side of the supernal Mother, of whom it is said, “Seven times a day do I praise You” (Ps. 119, 164).

Segment 2ב׳

שֶׁבַע שְׁמָהָן אִינּוּן אַבְגִיתַ"ץ, וּבְהוֹן מ"ב אַתְוָון, כְּלַל אַתְוָון וְתֵיבִין הֵם תֵּשַׁע וְאַרְבְּעִין, אִימָּא עִלָּאָה שְׁנַת הַחֲמִשִּׁים שָׁנָה, דְּבָהּ וּקְרָאתֶם דְּרוֹר. בָּהּ תְּהֵא שְׁכִינְתָּא תַּתָּאָה, דְּרוֹר פְּדוּת וּשְׁבִיתָה לְיִשְׂרָאֵל, דְּאִתְּמַר בְּהוֹן (בראשית כ״ח:י״ד) וְהָיָה זַרְעֲךָ כַּעֲפַר הָאָרֶץ.

Seven are the names, which are Abgitatz and those with it, and in them are forty-two letters; the letters and the words together are forty-nine. The supernal Mother is the fiftieth year, in which “you shall proclaim liberty.” In her the lower Shekinah shall be liberty, redemption and rest for Israel, of whom it is said, “and your seed shall be as the dust of the earth” (Gen. 28, 14).

Segment 3ג׳

כָּל סְפִירָה מֵאִלֵּין שֶׁבַע, שִׁית גַּדְפִין, דְּאִינּוּן שִׁית אַתְוָון לְכָל חַד. וּבְהוֹן קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא (ושכינתיה) בְּכָל סְפִירָה מֵאִלֵּין שֶׁבַע, (ישעיהו ו׳:ב׳) בִּשְׁתַּיִם יְכַסֶּה פָּנָיו וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְכַסֶּה רַגְלָיו וּבִשְׁתַּיִם יְעוֹפֵף, וּבִינָה אִיהוּ אַחַת, וּשְׁכִינְתָּא תַּתָּאָה שֶׁבַע. וּלְעֵילָּא מִבִּינָה, אַחַת וְאַחַת, הָא עֶשֶׂר סְפִירָן. שְׁתַּיִם, ג', וְד', וְה', וְו', וְז'.

Each sefirah of these seven has six wings, which are the six letters of each one; and in them are the Holy One, blessed be He, and His Shekinah, in every sefirah of these seven: “with two he covers his face, and with two he covers his feet, and with two he flies” (Isa. 6, 2). And binah is one, and the lower Shekinah is seven; and above binah, one and one — here are ten sefirot: two, three, four, five, six and seven.

Segment 4ד׳

כָּאן וַיִּלֶךְ הָלוֹךְ וְגָדֵל. מִסִּטְרָא נוּכְרָאָה, וְהַמַּיִם הָיוּ הָלוֹךְ וְחָסוֹר, אֵימָתַי. בַּאֲתַר דִּשְׁכִינְתָּא תַּתָּאָה שַׁרְיָא בְּז'. הֲדָא הוּא דִכְתִיב, (בראשית ח׳:ד׳) וַתָּנַח הַתֵּיבָה בַּחֹדֶשׁ הַשְׁבִיעִי, דָּא שְׁכִינְתָא תַּתָּאָה. בְּשִׁבְעָה עָשָׂר יוֹם לַחֹדֶשׁ, אִיהִי שְׁבִיעָאָה וַעֲשִׂירָאָה.

Here, “and he went on growing.” From the strange side, “and the waters went on diminishing.” When? In the place where the lower Shekinah rests upon the seventh. This is as it is written, “and the ark rested in the seventh month” (Gen. 8, 4) — this is the lower Shekinah; “on the seventeenth day of the month” — she is seventh and tenth.

Segment 5ה׳

דִּסְלִיקַת בְּהוֹן אֶהְיֶה, דְּאִיהִי בִּינָה, שְׁנַת הַיּוֹבֵל, אִיהִי אֶהְיְה אֲשֶׁר אֶהְיְה, תְּרֵין זִמְנִין אֶהְיְה חוּשְׁבָּן מ"ב, וּתְמַנְיָּא אַתְוָון בְּהוֹן חַמְשִׁין. דִּבְהוֹן פִּקּוּדָא לַחֲשׁוֹב שְׁנַת הַיּוֹבֵל. וּבֵיהּ פִּקּוּדָא לַחֲזוֹר לַאֲחֻזָתוֹ בַּיוֹבֵל, בִּשְׁנַת הַיּוֹבֵל הַזֹאת תָּשׁוּבוּ וְגוֹ'. כָּל חַד יַחֲזוֹר בֵּיהּ לְדַרְגָּא דִּילֵיהּ, דְּנִשְׁמָתֵיהּ אָחִיזָא מִתַּמָּן, כְּמָה דְּאוֹקְמוּהָ (קהלת י״ב:ז׳) וְהָרוּחַ תָּשׁוּב אֶל הָאֱלֹהִים וְגוֹ'.

For in them ascends Ehyeh, which is binah, the year of the Jubilee. She is “Ehyeh asher Ehyeh”: Ehyeh twice is the number forty-two, and with the eight letters they are fifty. In them is the precept to count the year of the Jubilee, and in it the precept to return to his possession in the Jubilee: “in this year of the Jubilee you shall return,” etc. Each one shall return in it to his own grade, from where his soul is held, as has been explained: “and the spirit shall return to God,” etc. (Eccl. 12, 7).
