Segment 1
It is found in the Testament of R. Eliezer the Great: The ground of the garden — when the Holy One, blessed be He, created the Garden of Eden, He took snow from beneath the throne of glory, and from it the ground of the garden was made; and this is the floor of the Garden of Eden. And it does not touch this earth, which is above all the lands.
Segment 2
The firmament that is over the garden is like the appearance of all the colours, like the work of a sapphire stone. And the name of the Holy One, blessed be He, is graven in the middle of the firmament. And there are four rings at the four corners of the firmament, and four wheels in every ring. And in the middle of the firmament is one pillar, and this pillar is fixed from the ground of the garden until it takes hold of the face of the throne of glory, and it is covered by the cloud of glory. And the angel Gabriel, clothed in linen, stands upon it. At one time they all take hold of the rings of the firmament, and the pillar turns and the firmament revolves, and the letters of the Ineffable Name stand out and sparkle and rise and descend.
Segment 3
A voice calls: Bestir yourselves, O camps of the holy righteous! Blessed are you, that you have merited this. Who has heard such a thing, who has seen the like — when all the music of the firmament is in its journeying by the hand of the man clothed in linen, and he departs and the firmament stands still? And the pillar makes music, rising and descending, until a light of radiance is drawn down, a light of pleasantness, from above into that pillar. And the righteous stand facing that light and take delight in it until midnight.
