Se’if 1א׳
One who imposes a vow upon himself from the benefit of his son, so that the son shall not be kept from his study on his account — the son is permitted to fill for him a barrel of water, and to light for him the lamp, and to roast for him a small fish. And likewise it is permitted to buy for him from the market what he needs, if he is a man whose way it is not to buy for himself, or if it is a woman who imposed the vow upon her son.
Se’if 2ב׳
One who says to his son: behold, you are forbidden in my benefit, or who swore that he would not have benefit from him — if he died, he inherits him. He forbade his benefit upon him and specified: whether in my life or in my death — if he died, he does not inherit him. And see above, siman 216.
Se’if 3ג׳
He forbade his son from his benefit and said: if this grandson of mine shall be a Torah scholar, this son of mine shall acquire my property, in order to transfer title in them to his son — this son is forbidden in the father's property, and the son's son is permitted in them, if he shall be a Torah scholar as he stipulated.
