An idolater (oved kokhavim — the standing term for a gentile) who makes a feast for the wedding of his son or his daughter — it is forbidden for an Israelite to eat there, even if he eats of his own and his own attendant stands over him and serves him. And from when is it forbidden? From the time that he begins to prepare the needs of the meal; and after the days of the feast, thirty days. And if he says that he invites him on account of the wedding, it is forbidden until twelve months; and after twelve months it is permitted, unless he is a man of importance.
Se’if 2ב׳
If the idolater who is making the wedding sends to the house of the Israelite live birds or fish, it is permitted. And the same law applies, that it is permitted, if he sent to his house meat slaughtered according to its law. (Beit Yosef in the name of a responsum of the Rosh)
