Se’if 1א׳
It is permitted to send to one's fellow on a festival day a domesticated animal, a wild animal and a bird, even alive, and wines, oils, fine flours and pulse; but not grain, since it still lacks grinding, which is a labour forbidden on a festival day.
Se’if 2ב׳
Anything that it is permitted to send on a festival day, one may not send in a line — that is, three people or more, one after another, all carrying one kind; but if each one carries a different kind, it is permitted.
Se’if 3ג׳
One may send garments even though they are not sewn, since they are fit to lean on, and even if there is kilayim (the forbidden mixture of wool and linen) in them, if they are stiff; and one may send tefillin (the phylacteries bound upon the head and the arm), since they are fit to be put on on a weekday. Hagah [Rema]: And anything similar to this — it is permitted to send them even by way of the public domain (Beit Yosef).
