המשסה את הכלב בחבירו או בעצמו. ובו סעיף אחד: המשסה (פי' משלח ומקניט) כלבו של חבירו בחבירו פטור מדיני אדם וחייב בדיני שמים ובעל הכלב חייב חצי נזק שכיון שהוא יודע שאם שסה את כלבו להזיק נושך לא היה לו להניחו ואם שסהו בעצמו בעל הכלב פטור שכל המשנ' ובא אחר ושינ' בו פטור:

One who sets a dog on his fellow or on himself; it contains one se'if. One who sets (that is, sends and provokes) his fellow's dog on his fellow is exempt by the laws of man and liable by the laws of Heaven; and the owner of the dog is liable for half damage, for since he knows that if one sets his dog on to damage it bites, he should not have left it. And if he set it on himself, the owner of the dog is exempt, for whoever deviates, and another came and deviated against him, is exempt.
