Se’if 1א׳

המגביה מציאה לחבירו ואם הגביהו חרש ופקח. ובו ו סעיפים: המגביה מציאה לחבירו אע"פ שלא אמר לו כלום זכה בה:

One who lifts a found object for his fellow, and where a deaf-mute and a person of sound senses lifted it; it contains six se'ifim. One who lifts a found object for his fellow, even though the fellow said nothing to him, the fellow has acquired it.

Se’if 2ב׳

שנים שהגביהו מציאה קנאוה שניהם:

Two who lifted a found object have both acquired it.

Se’if 3ג׳

הגביהה לו חרש או שוטה או קטן לא קנה הפקח לפי שאין להם דעת:

If a deaf-mute, or one who is not of sound mind, or a minor lifted it for him, the person of sound senses has not acquired, because they have no understanding.

Se’if 4ד׳

הגביהו חרש ופקח כאחד מתוך שלא קנה פקח (נ"י חרש)לא קנה חרש (פקח) והחוטפה מידם זכה ומיהו מה שביד כל אחד קנה ואם היו שניהם חרשים תקנו חכמים שיקנו כדי שלא יבאו להתקוטט:

If a deaf-mute and a person of sound senses lifted it together: since the person of sound senses (another reading: the deaf-mute) did not acquire, the deaf-mute (the person of sound senses) did not acquire either, and one who snatches it from their hand has acquired it. However, what is in the hand of each one he has acquired. And if both of them were deaf-mutes, the Sages ordained that they acquire, so that they should not come to quarrel.

טלית שמונח חציה על גבי עמוד שגבוה ג' טפחים וחציה על גבי קרקע ובא אחד והגביה ראש אחד שעל גבי קרקע וניתק ראש השני מעל גבי עמוד ונפל ע"ג קרקע קנאה כיון שראש האחד עדיין היא בידו וראש השני הי' מוגבה מכחו ג' טפחים מהארץ אבל אם לא הי' ראש השני עדיין בידו בעוד שהטלית באויר לא קנאה ואע"פ שהיה מוגבה מכחו ג' טפחים כיון שעתה כולו בארץ וכן אפילו ראש האחד בידו ולא ניתק ראש השני מעל גבי העמוד לא קנה אע"פ שאילו נתקו הי' מוגבה מכחו ואם טלית מונח על גב דף והכה ועלה מכחו שלשה טפחים קנאו אבל אם לא עלה מכח הכאתו למעל' אלא נפל לארץ אפי' שהדף גבוה ג' טפחים לא קנה:

A cloak half of which lies upon a pillar that is three handbreadths high and half upon the ground, and one came and lifted the one end that is on the ground, and the second end was drawn off the pillar and fell to the ground — he has acquired it, since the one end is still in his hand and the second end was lifted by his force three handbreadths from the ground. But if the second end was no longer in his hand while the cloak was in the air, he has not acquired it, even though it was lifted by his force three handbreadths, since now all of it is on the ground. And likewise, even if the one end is in his hand and the second end was not drawn off the pillar, he has not acquired, even though, had he drawn it off, it would have been lifted by his force. And if a cloak lies upon a board, and he struck it and it rose by his force three handbreadths, he has acquired it; but if it did not rise upwards by the force of his blow but fell to the ground, even though the board is three handbreadths high, he has not acquired.
