Se’if 1א׳

One who sells a ship, a wagon, a harness of oxen, a cow, a donkey or a maidservant; it contains eighteen se'ifim. One who sells the ship has sold the mast (that is, a tall pole on which they hang the sail; and the sail is a curtain hung on the mast against the wind), and the sail, and the anchors (that is, iron like a fork, which anchors the ship and holds it back), and all the oars that steer it (and included in this are the ropes with which they draw the ships to harbour) (the Maggid, chapter 27 of the Laws of Sale), and the gangway (that is, a bridge), and the ladder by which they go up into the ship and come down, and the water tank that is in it; but he has not sold the small boat, whether it is made for going ashore in or for catching fish, nor the slaves who serve in it, nor the bags, nor the merchandise that is in it. And when he said to him: I am selling it and all that is in it — all of them are sold.

Se’if 2ב׳

One who sells the wagon has not sold the mules, when they are not tied to it; if he sold the mules, he has not sold the wagon. Hagah [Rema]: If they were tied to one another: if he sold the wagon, he has sold the mules; if he sold the mules, he has not sold the wagon (Tur).

Se’if 3ג׳

Some say that this applies to one who sells; but one who hires out the wagon has hired out the mules too, even though they are not tied to it.
