Siman 219 of 427 in Choshen Mishpat — 6 se'ifim
Se’if 1א׳
How the boundaries are defined, and if he did not define them; it contains six se'ifim. One who says to his fellow: I am selling you such-and-such a field — he has acquired all of it, even if it is very large, although he did not define the boundaries, so long as no boundary interrupts. Hagah [Rema]: If he marked out for him the eastern and the western boundary and did not mention the northern and the southern, he has acquired the whole field, and we do not say that he acquires only one furrow in the east and one furrow in the west (Tur).
Se’if 2ב׳
If he marked out for him a first boundary, a second boundary and a third boundary, and did not mark out the fourth boundary, he has acquired the whole field, but he has not acquired the fourth boundary (how so?): if it was enclosed between the boundaries, and there is no row of palms on it, and there are not nine kav in it, he has acquired the fourth boundary too; and if it was not enclosed, and there is a row of palms on it, or there are nine kav in it, he has not acquired it. If it was enclosed and there is a row of palms on it, or there are nine kav in it; or it was not enclosed, and there is no row of palms on it and there are not nine kav in it — the matter is left to the court, as it sees fit: whichever way their mind inclines, so they shall do.
Se’if 3ג׳
If he marked out for him one long boundary and one short boundary — if the long one belonged to one man, he has acquired of the long one only as much as is opposite the short one; and if it belonged to two, he has acquired along the line of an ox's head (and some say that even with one man he acquires on the diagonal, like an ox's head) (Tur in the name of the Rosh, and in the name of Rabbeinu Yonah).
