המוכר בתוך שדהו אמת השלחים או דרך יחיד או דרך רבים או מקום לעשות קבורה. ובו ז סעיפים: המוכר לחבירו בתוך שדהו מקום אמת המים להשקות בה בית השלחין נותן לו בתוך שדהו אמה שרחבה שתי אמות ואמה מכאן ואמה מכאן לאגפיה (פי' גדותיה ופי' קילון כמו סילון ואינו גדול כל כך ועשוי להשקות בהמה ורחיצת כלים) ואם מכר לו אמת המים להשקות בה בקילון נותן לו אמה שרחבה אמה וחצי אמה מכאן וחצי אמה מכאן לאגפיה:

One who sells within his field an irrigation channel, or a private way, or a public way, or a place to make a burial; it contains seven se'ifim. One who sells his fellow, within his field, the place of a water channel to water irrigated fields with it — he gives him within his field a channel two cubits wide, and a cubit on this side and a cubit on that side for its flanks (that is, its banks; and a kilon is like a silon, but it is not so large, and it is made for watering animals and washing vessels). And if he sold him a water channel to water with it by a kilon, he gives him a channel a cubit wide, and half a cubit on this side and half a cubit on that side for its flanks.

אלו האגפים בעל השדה נוטען אבל אינו זורען שהזרעי' מלחלחים את הקרקע ומקלקלים את אמת המים:

These flanks the owner of the field plants but does not sow, for the seeds moisten the ground and spoil the water channel.

Se’if 3ג׳

אמת המים שכלו אגפיה בעל האמה מתקן בעפר אותה (השדה) שע"מ כן קבל עליו המוכר להיות אמת המים בתוך שדהו:

A water channel whose flanks have worn away — the owner of the channel repairs it with earth from that (field), for on this condition the seller accepted that the water channel should be within his field.

Se’if 4ד׳

המוכר לחבירו דרך בתוך שדהו אם דרך היחיד מכר לו נותן לו שתי אמות ומחצה רחבה כדי שיעמוד חמור במשאו על אורך הדרך (והוא דלא סיימי מחיצות אבל סיימי מחיצות צריך לתת טפי) (המגיד פכ"א בשם ר"י מג"ש) מכר לו הדרך בין עיר לעיר נותן לו ח' אמות ברוחב הדרך מכר לו דרך הרבים נותן לו רוחב ט"ז אמה מכר לו למעמד נותן לו בית ארבע קבין:

One who sells his fellow a way within his field: if it was a private way that he sold him, he gives him two and a half cubits in width, so that a donkey with its load can stand along the length of the way (and this is where partitions do not bound it; but where partitions bound it, he must give more) (the Maggid, chapter 21, in the name of Rabbi Yosef ibn Migash). If he sold him the way from town to town, he gives him eight cubits in the width of the way. If he sold him the public way, he gives him a width of sixteen cubits. If he sold him a place for a standing-place, he gives him an area of four kav.
