Se’if 1א׳
The law of a man who borrowed from his wife and divorced her, or from his slave and freed him, and of one who borrowed from a gentile who became a convert; it contains two se'ifim. A man who borrowed from his wife and afterwards divorced her, or borrowed from his slave and afterwards freed him — they have nothing against him; for whatever a slave acquires, his master acquires, and whatever is in the hand of the wife is in the presumptive possession of her husband until she brings proof that it is of her dowry (and there are those who disagree about this, as was explained in Even HaEzer, siman 86).
Se’if 2ב׳
One who borrowed from a convert whose sons converted with him, and he died — he shall not return it to his sons; and if he returned it, the spirit of the Sages is not pleased with him. In what case are these words said? When their conception and their birth were not in holiness; but if their conception was not in holiness and their birth was in holiness, the spirit of the Sages is pleased with him.
