Defilement by a Corpse 4
Chapter 4 of 25 in Defilement by a Corpse — 14 halachot
Halacha 1
A quarter-log of blood that comes from two corpses is pure, until the whole quarter is from one corpse. A spinal column completed from two corpses — as when some of the vertebrae were from one and their completion from another corpse; and likewise a skull from two corpses; and a quarter-kab of bones from two corpses; and a limb from a corpse made up from two corpses — all these do not convey impurity by a tent, but only by contact and by carrying, like all the other bones.
Halacha 2
A limb from a living person made up from two men is pure; and even from one man, if it was divided in two, it is pure.
Halacha 3
An olive's bulk of flesh from two corpses; an olive's bulk of putrefied flesh from two corpses; and a double handful of mould from two corpses, each of which has mould — these join together with one another. So too half an olive's bulk of flesh and half an olive's bulk of putrefied flesh join together with one another. But all the other corpse-impurities do not join together with one another, since their measures are not equal.
