Zohar, Vayikra 3
Section 3 of 67 in Vayikra — 10 segments
Segment 1
Ra’aya Meheimna (the Faithful Shepherd). He opened and said: “I am come into my garden, my sister, my bride”: she is malchut (kingship), Adonai. “I have gathered my myrrh”: this is chesed (lovingkindness), the grade of Abraham, of whom it is said, “I will get me to the mountain of myrrh.” “With my spice”: this is netzach (victory), the grade of Aaron, of whom it is written, “And you, take for yourself the chief spices” (Ex. 30, 23). And they are the right arm with the right thigh. And the mystery of the matter: “Pleasures are in Your right hand, netzach” (Ps. 16, 11). And they are two blessings corresponding to him: one, the Shield of Abraham; and the second, the Service, which is Retzeh.
Segment 2
“I have eaten my honeycomb”: this is gevurah (severity), the Fear of Isaac. “With my honey”: hod (majesty), the grade of David. And this is the left arm with the left thigh. “I have drunk my wine with my milk”: body and covenant, Jacob with Solomon. Afterwards, “Eat, O friends, drink, yea, drink abundantly, O beloved”: the twelve tribes, in the twelve blessings. The addition of the blessing of the heretics — who eats it? He of whom it is said, “I am come into my garden, my sister, my bride.”
Segment 3
And there are those who divide them by another mystery: “I have gathered my myrrh with my spice”: body and covenant. “My honeycomb with my honey”: the right leg with the left. “My wine with my milk”: the left arm with the right, for my wine is gevurah, my milk is chesed. (End of Ra’aya Meheimna)
