Segment 1א׳

(דברים ל״א:כ״ו) לָקוֹחַ אֵת סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה הַזֶּה וְגוֹ'. הָא אוֹקִימְנָא מִלֵּי. אֱלֹהֵיכֶם. אֱלֹהֶיךָ. אֵל. אֱלֹהֵינוּ.

(Deut. 31, 26) “Take this book of the law”, etc. We have already explained these words. Elohechem. Elohecha. El. Elohenu.

Segment 2ב׳

דְּאָמַר רִבִּי אַבָּא אָמַר רִבִּי יְהוּדָה, מַאי דִּכְתִּיב, (שמות ג׳:ה׳) כִּי הַמָּקוֹם אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה עוֹמֵד עָלָיו אַדְמַת קֹדֶשׁ הוּא. אַדְמַת קֹדֶשׁ וַדַּאי, דְּהַיְינוּ אֶרֶץ הַחַיִּים. אֲשֶׁר אַתָּה עוֹמֵד עָלָיו, עָלָיו וַדַּאי, הַיְינוּ בְּקַדְמִיתָא, וְכָּל שֶׁכֵּן לְבָתַר. תָּאנָא, אָמַר רִבִּי יוֹסֵי, כְּתִיב וְהָיָה שָׁם בְּךָ לְעֵד, לְעֵד וַדַּאי דְּיַסְהִיד סַהֲדוּתָא.

For R. Abba said in the name of R. Judah: ‘What is the meaning of the verse, (Ex. 3, 5) “For the place on which you are standing is holy ground”? Holy ground assuredly, that is, the land of the living. “On which you are standing”: “on which” assuredly, and this was so at the first, and all the more so afterwards.’ It has been taught: R. Jose said: ‘It is written, “and it shall be there for a witness against you”: for a witness assuredly, one that bears witness indeed.’

Segment 3ג׳

תְּלָתָא אִינּוּן דְּקַיְימוּ בְּסַהֲדוּתָא לְאַסְהֲדָא, וְאִלֵּין אִינּוּן: בְּאֵר דְּיִצְחָק, גּוֹרָל, וְאַבְנָא דְּשַׁוֵּי יְהוֹשֻׁעַ. וְדָא שִׁירָתָא, סַהֲדוּתָא יַתִּיר מִכֹּלָּא. אָמַר רִבִּי יִצְחָק אִי הָכִי אַרְבַּע אִינּוּן. אָמַר לֵיהּ וַדַּאי, אֲבָל גּוֹרָל לָא כְּתִיב בֵּיהּ סַהֲדוּתָא.

There are three that stand as witnesses to testify, and these are they: the well of Isaac, the lot, and the stone that Joshua set up. And this song is a testimony greater than them all. R. Isaac said: ‘If so, they are four.’ He said to him: ‘Assuredly; but of the lot no testimony is written.’
