Segment 1א׳

אַלְפָא בֵּיתִין כֻּלְּהוּ, מְשֻׁלָּבָן וּמִתְצָרְפָאן אִלֵּין בְּאִלֵּין, וְאִתְחַבְּרָן בְּצֵרוּפָא דִּשְׁמָא קַדִּישָׁא. כֵּיוָן דְּאִתְחָזוּן אַתְוָון בְּצֵרוּפָא דָּא, אִלֵּין גְּנִיזִין, וְנָפְקִין אַחֲרָנִין, וְכֵן כֻּלְּהוּ. אִלֵּין גְּנִיזִין, וְאִלֵּין נָפְקִין, כֻּלְּהוּ לְגוֹ בְּחָלוּלָא דְּאִינּוּן כַּפְתּוֹרִים.

All the alphabets are interlaced and permuted, these with those, and joined in the permutation of the holy Name. As soon as the letters appear in this permutation, these are hidden away and others come out; and so all of them. These are hidden away and these come out, all of them within, in the hollow of those knops.

Segment 2ב׳

תּוּ פַּרְחֵי תְּלַת זִמְנִין בְּיוֹמָא בַּאֲוִירָא וְנָפְקָא לְבַר, וְקַיְּימָא שְׁמָא בְּאַרְבַּע אַתְוָון, תַּלְיָין בַּאֲוִירָא שַׁעֲתָא וּפַלְגָּא, לְבָתַר גָּנִיז דָּא, מִיַּד נָפִיק מִגּוֹ אֲוִירָא מֵחָלוּלָא דִּילֵיהּ, שְׁמָא דִּתְרֵיסָר אַתְוָון, פָּרַח וְתַלְיָא בַּאֲוִירָא, שַׁעֲתָא חֲדָא, וְלָא יַתִּיר. לְבָתַר גָּנִיז דָּא, וְנָפְקָא מִיַּד צֵרוּפָא דְּאַתְוָון אַחֲרָנִין, שְׁמָא דכ' (דכ"ב) אַתְוָון, וְתַלְיָין בַּאֲוִירָא שַׁעֲתָא אַחֲרָא, וְאַגְנִיז. וּמִיַּד נָפְקֵי אַתְוָון מֵחָלוּלָא אַחֲרָא, שְׁמָא דִּתְמָנְיָא וְעֶשְׂרִין אַתְוָון, מִתְעַטְּרִין כֻּלְּהוּ בְּכִתְרַיְיהוּ, וְקַיְימֵי שַׁעֲתָא וּפַלְגָּא, וְאַגְנִיז דָּא. וּמִיַּד נָפְקֵי תַּלְיָא בַּאֲוִירָא, שְׁמָא דְּעֶשְׂרִין וַחֲמֵשׁ אַתְוָון בְּצִרוּפַיְּיהוּ, וְקַיְּימָא שַׁעֲתָא וּתְלַת רִגְעֵי, נַפְקֵי אַתְוָון דְּאַרְבְּעִין וּתְרֵין אַתְוָון. לְעָלְמָא קַיְּימָא.

Further, they fly three times a day in the air and go out, and the Name stands in four letters, hanging in the air an hour and a half. Afterwards this one is hidden away, and at once there goes out from within the air, from its hollow, the Name of twelve letters; it flies and hangs in the air one hour, and no more. Afterwards this one is hidden away, and at once there goes out a permutation of other letters, the Name of twenty (a variant reads: of twenty-two) letters, and they hang in the air another hour, and it is hidden away. And at once letters go out from another hollow, the Name of twenty-eight letters, all of them crowned with their crowns; and they stand an hour and a half, and this one is hidden away. And at once there goes out, hanging in the air, the Name of twenty-five letters in their permutation, and it stands an hour and three moments. There go out the letters of forty-two letters. It stands for ever.

Segment 3ג׳

שְׁמָהָן. אֶלָּא אַתְוָון כּוּלְּהוּ, לָא מִשְׁתַּכְכֵי לְעָלְמִין, בַּלְטֵי וּמְנַצְצֵי לְבַר, וְסַלְקֵי וְנַחְתֵּי, לֵית מַאן דְּיָכִיל לְקַיְּימָא בְּהוּ, בַּר מָשִׁיחַ בְּטוֹרַח סַגִּי. דָּא גָּנִיז, לְבָתַר דְּקַיְּימָא תְּרֵין שַׁעְתִּין וְעֶשְׂרִין וּתְרֵין רְגָעִין, וְהַאי שְׁמָא גְּלִיפָא דְּע"ב אַתְוָון קָא נָפִיק. וְקַיְּימָא וְתַלְיָא בַּאֲוִירָא, שַׁעֲתָא וּפַלְגָּא. כָּל הָנֵי שְׁמָהָן לָא נָפְקֵי, וְלָא אִתְחָזוּן, אֶלָּא זִמְנָא חֲדָא בְּיוֹמָא, אֲבָל אִינּוּן אַלְפָא בֵּיתִין, אִתְחָזוּן פַּרְחִין בַּאֲוִירָא, וּמְצָרְפִין אִלֵּין בְּאִלֵּין, תְּלַת זִמְנִין בְּיוֹמָא.

Names. But all the letters are never stilled: they stand out and sparkle outward, and go up and come down. There is none who can stand before them, save the Messiah, with great labour. This one is hidden away after it has stood two hours and twenty-two moments, and this engraved Name of seventy-two letters goes out, and it stands and hangs in the air an hour and a half. All these Names do not go out and are not seen save one time in a day; but those alphabets are seen flying in the air, and they combine, these with those, three times a day.
