Segment 1א׳

וּבְרַתָּא אִיהִי תְּפִלָּה שֶׁל יַד, כֵּהָ"ה. י' קֶשֶׁר דִּילֵיהּ. ה' עִלָּאָה אִימָּא, תְּפִלִּין דְּרֵישָׁא עַל רֹאשׁ תִּפְאֶרֶת. תְּפִלִּין דִּילֵיהּ, כְּסֵדֶר יְדוָֹ"ד, דְּאִיהוּ קַדֶּשׁ לִי. וְהָיָה כִּי יְבִאֲךָ. שְׁמַע. וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמוֹעַ. אֲבָל בְּעָלְמָא דְּאָתֵי, הֲוָיוֹת בְּאֶמְצַע, דְּאִינּוּן ה' ה'. וּבְגִין דָּא אָמַר הַנָבִיא, (ירמיהו ט׳:כ״ג) בְּזֹאת יִ"תְהַלֵּל הַ"מִתְהַלֵּל הַ"שְׂכֵּל וְ"יָדוֹעַ אוֹתִי כִּי אֲנִי יְדוָֹ"ד. וּבְגִין דָּא אוֹקְמוּהָ מָארֵי מַתְנִיתִין, דְּאִית בְּרֵישָׁא אֲתָר, לְאָנָחָא תְּרֵי זּוּגֵי דִּתְפִלֵּי. וְדָא זָכֵי לִתְרֵין פִּקוּדִין, דְּאוֹקְמוּהָ עָלַיְיהוּ, לֹא כָּל אָדָם זוֹכֶה לִשְׁתֵּי שׁוּלְחָנוֹת.

And the daughter is the phylactery of the hand, the weak one. Yod is its knot. The upper He is the Mother: the phylacteries of the head, upon the head of tiferet. Its phylacteries are in the order of the Tetragrammaton, which is: “Sanctify to Me”; “And it shall be when He brings you”; “Hear”; “And it shall come to pass, if you shall hearken diligently.” But in the world to come the modes of being are in the middle, which are He, He. And therefore the prophet said, “But let him that glories (ha-mithallel) glory (yithallel) in this, that he understands (haskel), and knows (ve-yadoa) Me, that I am the Lord” (Jer. 9, 23). And therefore the sages of the Mishnah have explained that there is room on the head to lay two pairs of phylacteries. And such a one merits two commandments, of which they explained: Not every man merits two tables.

Segment 2ב׳

י' חָכְמָה. ה' בִּינָה. ו' עַמּוּדָא דְּאֶמְצָעִיתָא. ה' מַלְכוּת קַדִּישָׁא. רֵישָׁא דְּאִתְעַטָּר בְּאַרְבַּע אַתְוָון, דָּא כֶּתֶר רִיהֲטָא דְּרֵישָׁא דְּאַסְחַר לוֹן, וְכַסֵּי לוֹן. אַהֲבָה חֶסֶד קְרִיאַת שְׁמַע, דִּשְׁקִילָא לְאוֹרַיְיתָא, דְּאִתְיְיהִיבַת מִימִינָא. תְּפִלִּין עֹז, מִשְּׂמָאלָא דִּגְבוּרָה. עַמּוּדָא דְּאֶמְצָעִיתָא, כָּלִיל כֹּלָּא, כַּנְפֵי דְּמִצְוָה, נֶצַח וְהוֹד, תְּכֵלֶת וְלָבָן. מְזוּזָה רָשִׁים שַׁדַּי, צַדִּיק. וּשְׁכִינְתָּא תַּרְעָא דִּמְזוּזָה, זֶה הַשַּׁעַר לַיְדוָֹ"ד.

Yod: chochmah. He: binah. Vau: the Central Column. He: holy malchut. The head that is crowned with four letters: this is keter, the circlet of the head, which goes around them and covers them. Love, chesed: the reciting of the Shema, which is equal to the Torah, which was given from the right. The phylacteries, strength: from the left, of gevurah. The Central Column comprises all. The corners of the commandment: netzach and hod, blue and white. The mezuzah is marked with Shaddai: the Righteous One. And the Shekinah is the gate of the mezuzah: “This is the gate of the Lord.”

Segment 3ג׳

וְעוֹד ש' תְּלַת רְצוּעוֹת. ד' קֶשֶׁר שֶׁל תְּפִילִּין מֵאֲחוֹרוֹי. י' קֶשֶׁר דִּתְפִלִּין דְּיָד. וּבְגִין דָּא שַׁדַּ"י מִלְּבַר, יְדוָֹ"ד מִלְּגוֹ, דְּאִיהִי ד' פָּרְשִׁיָין. דד' רָאשִׁין רֶמֶז לד' בָּתֵּי דִּתְפִילִּין, שַׁדַּ"י אוֹת דִּילֵיהּ עוֹלֶה מטטרו"ן.

And further: Shin — three straps. Daleth — the knot of the phylacteries behind. Yod — the knot of the phylacteries of the hand. And therefore Shaddai is outside, the Tetragrammaton within, which is the four sections. For the four heads hint at the four compartments of the phylacteries; Shaddai, its sign, amounts to Metatron.
