Zohar, Ki Teitzei 4
Section 4 of 30 in Ki Teitzei — 5 segments
Segment 1
There are others who have knowledge of the mysteries of the Torah, men of qualities, who receive souls from the aspect of the holy Malchut which includes the ten Sefirot. Whoever receives her and attains her, merits ten indivisible Sefirot, ten, not nine, since had they inherited Malchut alone the nine Sefirot would have been separated from her. But since there is no division there, {in the world of Atzilut}, the author of the Book of Formation, the סֵפֶר יְצִירָה, said 'ten, not nine', {the nine upper Sefirot are never seperated from her}
Segment 2
And should you say that she ascends higher than ten: the Ineffable Name is Yod-Vau-Daleth, He-Aleph, Vau-Aleph-Vau, He-Aleph — behold, ten; and the Yod is that in which she is made one, and she does not ascend higher than ten. And therefore ten, and not eleven. But one who joins the Yod, which is the sign of the covenant, with a handmaid — while the Matrona is the one comprised of ten — with the demon of idolatry, Samael, he is judged in Gehinnom.
Segment 3
For one who inherits the daughter of the King, malchut (kingship), does not attain her except as a son of the King, who is called “Israel is My son, My firstborn” (Ex. 4); for from this side Israel are called children to the Holy One, blessed be He. That is what is written, “You are the children of the Lord your God” (Deut. 14, 1). And this malchut is of Atzilut (emanation).
