Segment 1א׳

וְעַל הַאי תָּנֵינָא בְּמַתְנִיתָא דִּילָן, (דניצוצא) דְּבוּצִינָא אַפִּיק זִיקִין (שמות רנ"ד ע"ב, בראשית ק"ז ע"ב סתרי תורה) בָּזִיקִין (נ"א דבוצינא אפיק זיקין ניצוצין) לִתְלַת מְאָה וְעֶשְׂרִין עִיבָר. וְאִינּוּן זִיקִין, עָלְמִין קַדְמָאֵי אִקְרוּן, וּמִיתוּ לְאַלְתָּר. לְבָתַר נָפִיק אוּמָנָא (ס"א מאנא) לְאוּמָנוּתֵיהּ, וְאִתְתְּקַּן בִּדְכַר וְנוּקְבָּא, וְהָנֵי זִיקִין דְּאִתְדַעֲכוּ וּמִיתוּ, הַשְׁתָּא אִתְקְיָים כֹּלָּא. מִבּוּצִינָא דְּקַרְדִּינוּתָא, נָפַק נִיצוֹצָא, פַּטִישָׁא תַּקִּיפָא, דְּבָטַשׁ, וְאַפִּיק זִיקִין עָלְמִין קַדְמָאֵי, וּמִתְעָרְבֵי (ד"א ומתדכי) בַּאֲוִירָא דַּכְיָא, וְאִתְבְּסָמוּ דָּא בְּדָא.

And concerning this we have learnt in our Mishnah (a variant reads: that the spark) that the lamp brought forth sparks (Shemot, folio 254b; Bereshit, folio 107b, Sitrei Torah) in sparks (a variant reads: that the lamp brought forth sparks, flashes) to three hundred and twenty directions. And those sparks are called the first worlds, and they died at once. Afterwards the craftsman (a variant reads: the vessel) went forth to his craft, and was set in order in male and female; and those sparks that were extinguished and died — now all endure. From butzina de-kardinuta (the lamp of darkness) there went forth a spark, a mighty hammer, which struck and brought forth sparks, the first worlds; and they mingled (a variant reads: and were purified) in the pure air, and were sweetened one by the other.

Segment 2ב׳

כַּד אִתְחַבָּר אַבָּ"א וְאִימָּ"א, וְהַהוּא אָב הוּא, מֵרוּחָא דְּגָנִיז בְּעַתִּיק יוֹמִין, בֵּיהּ אִתְגְּנִיז הַאי אֲוֵירָא, וְאַכְלִיל לְנִיצוֹצָא, דְּנָפִק מִבּוּצִינָא דְּקַרְדִּינוּתָא דְּגָנִיז בְּמֵעוֹי דְּאִימָּא. וְכַד אִתְחַבָּרוּ תַּרְוַויְיהוּ, וְאִתְכְּלִילוּ דָּא בְּדָא. נָפִיק גּוּלְגַלְתָּא חַד תַּקִּיפָא, וְאִתְפָשַּׁט בְּסִטְרוֹי, דָּא בְּסִטְרָא דָּא, וְדָא בְּסִטְרָא דָּא. כְּמָה דְּעַתִּיקָא קַדִּישָׁא תְּלַת רֵישִׁין אִשְׁתְּכָחוּ בְּחַד, כַּךְ כֹּלָּא אִזְדְּמַן בִּתְלַת רֵישִׁין, כְּמָה (רפ"ח ע"ב) דַּאֲמֵינָא.

When Father and Mother were joined — and that Father is from the spirit that is stored away in the Ancient of Days; in it this air was stored away, and it included the spark that went forth from butzina de-kardinuta, which is stored away in the womb of Mother — and when the two of them were joined and included one in the other, there went forth one strong skull, and it spread out on its sides, this on this side and that on that side. As in the Holy Ancient One three heads are found in one, so all is prepared in three heads, as (folio 288b) I have said.
