Zohar, Idra Rabba 6
Section 6 of 52 in Idra Rabba — 10 segments
Segment 1
It has been taught: on the skull of the head hang a thousand thousand myriads, and seven thousand, and five hundred locks of hair, white and pure, like wool when it is pure, not tangled one with another, so as not to show confusion in His adornments; but all stands in its proper order, so that no strand goes out from another strand, nor hair from hair.
Segment 2
And each and every lock has in it four hundred and ten strands of hair, according to the reckoning of kadosh (holy). And each and every strand flames in four hundred and ten worlds; and each and every world is closed and hidden, and none knows them but He. And it flames to seven (a variant reads: four) hundred and ten directions.
Segment 3
And in each and every strand there is a spring that issues from the concealed brain (a variant adds: which is behind the wall), and it shines and flows through that strand to the strands of the Small of Countenance. And from this His brain is set in order (a variant reads: is nourished). And then that brain flows into thirty-two paths.
