Segment 1א׳

הֵיכָּלָא שְׁבִיעָאָה הֵיכָּלָא דָא לָאו בֵּיהּ דִיוּקְנָא מַמָּשׁ, כֹּלָּא אִיהוּ בִּסְתִימוּ וְגו' (ד"א גו) רָזָא דְרָזִין, פָּרוּכְתָּא דִפְרִיסָא (ד"א פריסא) קָיְימִין כֻּלְהוּ הֵיכָלִין דְּלָא לְאִתְחַזָּאָה תְּרִין כְּרוּבִים (ד"א ל"ג דא מן דא קיימין), לְגוֹ מִן דָּא קָיְימָא כַּפּוּרְתָּא דִּיוּקְנָא דְקֹדֶשׁ קוּדְשִׁין, בְּגִין כָּךְ הֵיכָלָא דָא אִקְרֵי קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים. הַאי קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים אֲתַר מִתְתַּקְנָא לְהַהוּא נִשְׁמָתָא עִלָּאָה כְּלָלָא דְּכֹלָּא עָלְמָא דְּאֲתֵי לְגַבֵּי הַאי (נ"א עלמא) עִלָּאֵי.

The seventh palace. In this palace there is no actual form; all is in concealment, within the mystery of mysteries. A curtain is spread, and all the palaces stand so as not to be seen. Two cherubim stand one over against the other. Within this stands the mercy-seat, the form of the Holy of Holies; and therefore this palace is called the Holy of Holies. This Holy of Holies is a place made ready for that supernal soul, the sum of all — the world to come, in relation to this supernal one.

Segment 2ב׳

דְּהָא כַּד מִתְחַבְּרָן כֻּלְהוּ רוּחֵי דָא בְּדָא וְאִשְׁתַּלִּימוּ דָּא עִם דָּא כְּדְקָא חָזֵי, כְּדֵין אִתְעַר רוּחָא עִלָּאָה נִשְׁמָתָא דְכֹלָּא לְגַבֵּי עֵילָא סְתִימָא דְּכָל סְתִימִין, לְאַתְעָרָא עַל כֹּלָּא לְאַנְהָרָא לוֹן מֵעֵילָא לְתַתָּא. וּלְאַשְׁלָמָא לוֹן לְאַדְלָקָא בּוֹצִינִין.

For when all the spirits are joined one to another and are completed each with the other as is fitting, then the supernal spirit, the soul of all, is aroused toward that which is above, the most hidden of all that is hidden, to arouse over all, to illumine them from above downward, and to complete them, to kindle the lamps.

Segment 3ג׳

וְכַד כֹּלָּא (נ"א איהו) בִּשְׁלִימוּ בִּנְהִירוּ דְּכֹלָּא וְנָחִית נְהִירוּ עִלָּאָה, כְּדֵין הַאי הֵיכָלָא שְׁבִיעָאָה אִיהוּ הֵיכָלָא סְתִימָאָה בִּסְתִימוּ דְּכֹלָּא לְקַבְּלָא הַהוּא קֹדֶשׁ הַקֳּדָשִׁים נְהִירוּ דְּנָחִית וּלְאִתְמַלְיָיא מִתַּמָּן כְּנוּקְבָא דְּמִתְעַבְּרָא מִן דְּכוּרָא וְאִתְמַלְיָיא, וְלָא אִתְמַלְיָיא אֶלָּא מֵהַאי הֵיכָלָא דְּמִתְתַּקְנָא לְקַבְּלָא הַהוּא נְהִירוּ עִלָּאָה, וְרָזָא דָּא הֵיכָלָא שְׁבִיעָאָה אִיהוּ אֲתַר דְּחִבּוּרָא דְּזִוּוּגָא, לְאִתְחַבְּרָא שְׁבִיעָאָה בִּשְׁבִיעָאָה לְמֶהֱוֵי כֹּלָּא חַד שְׁלִימוּ (ד"א חד) כְּדְקָא חָזִיִ.

And when all is in completeness, in the radiance of all, and the supernal radiance descends, then this seventh palace is the hidden palace, in the concealment of all, to receive that Holy of Holies — the radiance that descends — and to be filled from there, like a female that conceives from a male and is filled. And it is not filled except from this palace, which is made ready to receive that supernal radiance. And this is the mystery: the seventh palace is the place of the joining of the union, for the seventh to be joined with the seventh, so that all should be one completeness, as is fitting.

Segment 4ד׳

וּמָאן דְּיָדַע לְקָשְׁרָא יִחוּדָא דָא זַכָּאָה חוּלָקֵיהּ רָחִים לְעֵילָא רָחִים לְתַתָּא קוּדְשָׁא בְּרִיךְ הוּא (איהו) גָּזִיר וְאִיהוּ מְבַטֵּל. סָלְקָא דַעְתִּין דְּאִיהוּ מְקַטְרְגָא בְּמָארֵיהּ, לָאו הָכִי, אֶלָּא בְּגִין דְּכַד אִיהוּ קָשִׁיר קְשִׁירִין וְיָדַע לְיַחֲדָא יִחוּדָא וְכָל אַנְפִּין נְהִירִין וְכָל שְׁלִימוּ אִשְׁתְּכַח וְכֹלָּא אִתְבָּרְכָא כְּדְקָא יָאוּת, כָּל דִּינִין מִתְעַבְּרִין וּמִתְבַּטְּלִין וְלָא אִשְׁתְּכַח דִּינָא בְּעָלְמָא. זַכָּאָה חוּלָקֵיהּ בְּעָלְמָא דֵין וּבְעָלְמָא דְאֲתֵי. דָּא הוּא לְתַתָּא דִּכְתִיב בֵּיהּ (משלי י׳:כ״ה) וְצַדִּיק יְסוֹד עוֹלָם דָּא הוּא קִיּוּמָא דְעָלְמָא. בְּכָל יוֹמָא קָארֵי עֲלוֹי כָּרוֹזָא (ישעיהו מ״א:ט״ז) וְאַתָּה תָּגִיל בַּיְיָ בִּקְדוֹשׁ יִשְׂרָאֵל תִּתְהַלָּל.

And one who knows how to bind this unity — happy is his portion. He is beloved above and beloved below. The Holy One, blessed be He, decrees, and he annuls. One might suppose that he contends against his Master; it is not so. Rather, because when he binds the bonds and knows how to unify the unity, and all faces are illumined and all completeness is found and all is blessed as it should be, then all judgements pass away and are annulled, and no judgement is found in the world. Happy is his portion in this world and in the world to come. This is the one below, of whom it is written, “and the righteous one is the foundation of the world” (Prov. 10, 25); he is the world’s endurance. Every day a herald proclaims over him, “And you shall rejoice in the Lord, you shall glory in the Holy One of Israel” (Is. 41, 16).

Segment 5ה׳

כְּגַוְונָא דָא קָרְבָּנָא (ד"א ל"ג דא) סָלְקָא תְּנָנָא וּמִסְתַּפְּקִין (ד"א ביה) כָּל חַד וְחַד כִּדְקָחָזֵי לֵיהּ, וְכַהֲנִי בִּרְעוּתָא וְלֵוָאֵי בִּבְסִימוּ דְּשִׁירָתָא. דָּא אִתְכְּלִיל בְּדָא, וְעַיְילֵי הֵיכָלָא בְּהֵיכָלָא רוּחָא בְּרוּחָא עַד דְּמִתְחַבְּרָן בְּדוּכְתַּיְיהוּ כְּדְקָא חָזֵי לֵיהּ שַׁיְיפָא בְּשַׁיְיפָא וְאִשְׁתַּלִּימוּ דָּא בְּדָא וְאִתְיַיחֲדוּ דָּא בְּדָא עַד דְּאִנּוּן חַד (ד"א ל"ג) (ואתנהרין) וְנָהֲרִין דָּא בְּדָא.

In like manner with the offering: the smoke ascends, and each and every one takes its due as befits it — the priests with their will, and the Levites with the sweetness of song. This is comprised in that, and palace enters into palace and spirit into spirit, until they are joined in their places as is fitting, limb with limb, and are completed one with another and united one with another, until they are one and give light one to another.
