Section 62 of 102 in Bereshit — 5 segments
Segment 1
Observe. R. Simeon said: ‘There are seven abodes, as we have said, and within them are seven palaces of those mysteries of faith, corresponding to the seven supernal firmaments; and in each and every palace there are supernal spirits. The first palace: here there is a spirit appointed over the souls of those proselytes who became proselytes, and Rahmiel is its name. It receives them, and they take pleasure in the radiance of the glory above.
Segment 2
The second palace: there is one spirit, Ahinael is its name. This one is set over all those souls of the children who did not merit in this world to study the Torah; it stands over them and teaches them.
Segment 3
The third palace: in this there is one spirit, Adrahinael is its name. It is set over the souls of those who turned in repentance and did not turn — such as those who purposed it and died before they had turned. These they drive about in Gehinnom, and afterwards they bring them in to this appointed spirit, and it receives them. They long to take pleasure in the radiance of their Master’s glory, and they do not take pleasure in it. These are called sons of flesh, and of them it is written, “from one new moon to another, and from one sabbath to another, all flesh shall come to bow down before Me, says the Lord” (Is. 66, 23).
