בְּרָזָא דְּשָׁמוֹר דִּבּוּר לַיְלָה. דְּהָא הִיא תּוֹרַת ה', תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה. מֹשֶׁה קִבֵּל תּוֹרָה מִסִּינַי וּמְסָרָה לִיְהוֹשֻעַ וְגוֹ' וְהָא אִתְעָרוּ עַל תּוֹרָה שֶׁבְּעַל פֶּה, דְּאִילּוּ תּוֹרָה שֶׁבִּכְתָב הַא כְּתִיב (דברים ל״א:כ״ה-כ״ו) וַיְצַּו מֹשֶׁה אֵת הַלְויִּים נֹשְׂאֵי אֲרוֹן בְּרִית יְיָ לֵאמֹר לַקֹחַ אֵת סֵפֶר הַתּוֹרָה הַזְּה, וְדָא לְלֵיוָאֵי אִתְחֲזִי לְהַאי. לְהַאי דְאֲחִיד בְּשִׁמְשָׁא. וּמַלְכָּא דְּאַתְיָיא מִנִּיהּ, מֹשֶׁה. נָהִיר לוֹן לְיִשְׂרָאֵל אַרְבְּעִין שְׁנִין שִׁמְשָׁא בְּיוֹמָא, וְתּוֹרַת ה' דָא מָעֲלֵי דְשַׁבַּתָּא בְּרָזָא חֲדָא וְכוּ':

In the mystery of “Keep” — the speech of the night. For she is “the law of the Lord,” the Oral Law. “Moses received the Torah from Sinai and delivered it to Joshua,” and so on; and they have taught this of the Oral Law, whereas of the Written Law it is written, “And Moses commanded the Levites, who bore the ark of the covenant of the Lord, saying: ‘Take this book of the law’” (Deut. 31, 25-26) — and this was given over to the Levites, to this one; to this one that is bound to the sun. And the king who comes from him is Moses. He gave light to Israel forty years, the sun by day; and “the law of the Lord” is this, the eve of the Sabbath, in one mystery, and so forth.
