Matnitin (our teaching). In the ordinances of the shining ones: four keys are set to the four sides of the world, and in their corners they are found, one to the side of four and four to the side of one. They are engraved in one hue, and in that hue are blue and purple and scarlet dye, and white and red. This one enters into the hue of its fellow, and its own is marked within it.
Segment 2
Four heads ascend together, and in one form they cleave. One head ascends from within the bathing wherein it was bathed. Two hinds, measured by one measure, rise up from that bathing, as it is written, “like a flock of ewes that are counted, which are come up from the washing” (S.S. 4, 2). In their hair is the appearance of a precious stone of four hues.
Segment 3
Four wings that cover over the body, and small hands beneath their wings; and five are engraved within five. They fly upward, higher and higher than the palace, which is fair in form and comely to look upon.
