Birds or kids that they stuff with meat that has not been salted: if for roasting, it is permitted, even with their mouth upwards, and even if the outer part was salted; for just as it absorbs the blood of the stuffing, so it gives it off. Hagah [Rema]: And all the more so if the inner part was salted and not the outer, that it is permitted (his own opinion, according to the view of the Issur v'Heter haAroch, klal 9), for the fire assuredly draws out the blood from the outer part, and it is not absorbed into the inner (his own opinion). And for the pot it is forbidden until he salts the outer by itself and the inner by itself; but if, after he stuffed it, he salted the outer, it does not give off the blood that is in the inner. And all this is after the fact; but at the outset one is not to make any muleyata (a fowl or a kid stuffed with meat) at all, only if both of them were salted (Agur and Mordechai, chapter "All flesh", and Rashi). And all this speaks of where there is in this muleyata only meat or herbs; but if there are there eggs that congeal, its law is as though it had been cooked in a pot (Hagahat Shaarei Dura in the name of the Maharit, and the Issur v'Heter haAroch, and Binyamin Ze'ev), and even after the fact it is to be forbidden if both of them were not salted. Meat that was not salted and not washed, that was roasted together with meat that was salted and washed, is permitted after the fact (there). But at the outset it is forbidden to roast meat that was salted together with the meat that was not salted, even if it was washed.
