הַטְּחוֹל, אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁיֵּשׁ בּוֹ מַרְאֵה אַדְמוּמִית וְנִרְאֶה כְּרִבּוּי דָּם, דִּינוֹ כִּשְׁאָר בָּשָׂר. הַגָּה: יֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים שֶׁנָּהֲגוּ שֶׁלֹּא לְבַשֵּׁל הַכְּלָיוֹת אוֹ בֵּיצֵי זָכָר, אֲפִלּוּ לְאַחַר שֶׁנִּקֵּר אוֹתָן, מִשּׁוּם דְּאִית בְּהוּ רֹב דָּם. וּבְדִיעֲבַד אֵין לָחוּשׁ (אָגוּר וְאָרֹךְ כְּלָל א' בְּשֵׁם רוֹקֵחַ), וּמֻתָּר לִמְלֹחַ כָּל אֵלּוּ עִם שְׁאָר בָּשָׂר אַף עַל פִּי שֶׁיֵּשׁ בָּהֶם רֹב דָּם, וּבִלְבַד שֶׁיָּסִירוּ הַקְּרוּמִים וְהַחֵלֶב מֵהֶם.
The spleen, even though there is in it an appearance of redness and it seems like an abundance of blood, its law is as the rest of the meat. Hagah [Rema]: There are those who say that they have the practice not to cook the kidneys or the testicles, even after they have been cleaned, because there is in them much blood; and after the fact there is no ground for concern (Agur and Issur v'Heter haAroch, klal 1, in the name of Rokeach). And it is permitted to salt all these with the rest of the meat, even though there is in them much blood, provided that they remove the membranes and the fat from them.
