Se’if 1א׳
רֵאשִׁית הַגֵּז אֵינוֹ נוֹהֵג אֶלָּא בָּאָרֶץ, בֵּין בִּפְנֵי הַבַּיִת בֵּין שֶׁלֹּא בִּפְנֵי הַבַּיִת. וְיֵשׁ אוֹמְרִים דְּבַר תּוֹרָה רֵאשִׁית הַגֵּז נוֹהֵג אֲפִלּוּ בְּחוּץ לָאָרֶץ, אֶלָּא שֶׁלֹּא נָהֲגוּ כֵן (טוּר).
The first of the fleece (reishit ha-gez — the first shearing of the fleece, given to the priest) applies only in the Land of Israel, whether the Temple stands or not. And some say that by the law of the Torah the first of the fleece applies even outside the Land, only that they have not been accustomed so (Tur).
Se’if 2ב׳
אֵין חַיָּבִים בְּרֵאשִׁית הַגֵּז אֶלָּא הַכְּבָשִׁים בִּלְבַד, זְכָרִים וּנְקֵבוֹת. וְאִם הָיָה צִמְרָן קָשֶׁה וְאֵינוֹ רָאוּי לִלְבִישָׁה, פָּטוּר.
Only sheep are liable to the first of the fleece, males and females. And if their wool was hard and not fit for wearing, he is exempt.
Se’if 3ג׳
גָּזַז הַצֶּמֶר וְלִבְּנוֹ, חַיָּב. אֲבָל אִם צְבָעוֹ, פָּטוּר.
If he sheared the wool and bleached it, he is liable; but if he dyed it, he is exempt.
