Se’if 1א׳

At the time that he separates challah (the portion of dough given to a priest) he blesses: who has sanctified us by His commandments and commanded us to separate terumah (the priestly portion), or: to separate challah (Tur). Therefore it is forbidden for a man to separate his challah naked, because it is impossible for him to bless while he is naked. But a woman is permitted, provided that her lower face is pressed against the ground. And in a place where they separate two challot, he blesses only when they separate the first (Kol Bo).

Se’if 2ב׳

The blind man and the drunkard separate challah at the outset.

Se’if 3ג׳

They do not separate challah without the permission of the owner of the dough. Hagah [Rema]: However, if we know that it is a benefit to the owner of the dough — such as where the dough was spoiling — it is permitted to take challah without his permission, for one may confer a benefit upon a man in his absence. And likewise a maidservant in the house may take challah without his permission, since she is used to the mistress of the house sometimes giving her permission (Terumat haDeshen, siman 188). Two partners need not take permission from one another (Beit Yosef in the name of the Rambam, chapter 4 of the Laws of Terumot), but another must take permission from both of them (Beit Yosef in the name of the Semag). However, if he gave another permission to separate, even while it is still flour, it is effective, even though it is not yet liable. And the guest should tell the mistress of the house to separate challah for him from all the dough she makes for him while he is in her house, so that she will not need to take permission every time.
