Idolatry· siman 146

Se’if 1א׳

An idol of an idolater (oved kokhavim — the standing term for a gentile) that an idolater annulled is permitted. But an Israelite cannot annul an idol of an idolater; and all the more so one of an Israelite, which has no annulment ever. And even if the idolater has a partnership in it with him, the idolater's annulment does not avail for the portion of the Israelite.

Se’if 2ב׳

Even an idol of an idolater: from the time that it has come into the hand of an Israelite and he has acquired it, it no longer has annulment. And these words apply to the idol itself; but the appurtenances of an idol and its adornment, if they came into the hand of an Israelite and afterwards an idolater annulled them, are permitted.

Se’if 3ג׳

One who buys scrap metal (that is, broken pieces of metal vessels) from an idolater and found an idol among it: if he gave the money and did not draw it, he shall return them to the idolater. And likewise if he drew it and did not give the money — even though drawing acquires with an idolater — it is a mistaken sale. If he gave the money and drew it, he carries them to the Dead Sea.
