One who wishes to recite the blessings in two or three houses recites the blessing first in his own house and eats all that he needs, and recites the Grace after Meals; and then he recites the blessing for each and every one in his house, and they drink the cup of Kiddush and of the Haggadah (the telling of the going out from Egypt at the Passover meal) and eat the greens and the matzah (the unleavened bread of Passover), while he neither eats nor drinks with them, and he leaves them to finish their meal, and they recite the Grace after Meals; and if they do not know how, he reads it out to them word by word. And then he goes to another house and does the same, and then he goes to his own house and finishes the Hallel (the psalms of praise recited on festival days) and drinks the cup of Hallel. And if he wishes to go to those houses first, he recites the blessing for them without eating or tasting, and then goes to his own house and recites Kiddush. And if he wishes, he may finish everything in his own house and afterwards go to recite Kiddush in the other houses, and he does not eat or drink with them.
