Over a thing whose growth is not from the ground — such as the flesh of cattle, of wild animals and of fowl; fish; eggs; milk; cheese; and bread that has become mouldy; and a cooked dish whose form has changed and been spoiled; and novlot, which are dates that ripened and the heat scorched them and they dried — and over the locust, and over salt, and over salt water, and over the broth, and over truffles and mushrooms, and over the kora, which is — Hagah [Rema]: the soft part that is added to the tree every year, which they call (Tur) "palmito"; and over the tendrils of vines, and over sweet almonds that are eaten while they are soft in their shells, and over chaziz, which is green fodder, and over a raw gourd, and over barley flour, and over date beer and barley beer, and over barley water that they cook for the sick, and over wild herbs of the field that are not sown, and over dill, which they call "aneto", that is, "anis", and over cumin and coriander, which are made for flavour and not for eating, and over vinegar that one mixed with water until it is fit to drink — one blesses "by whose word all came to be".
