Halacha 1

What is the lobe of the ear? It is the middle ridge. If he placed it upon the sides of the thumb and the toe, it is valid; upon the sides of their sides, it is invalid. Whether he placed the oil upon the blood of the guilt-offering itself, above it, or placed it beside the blood — and even if the blood had been wiped away before he placed the oil upon the thumb and the toe — he has fulfilled the requirement, as it is said (Leviticus 14:28), "upon the place of the blood of the guilt-offering." One who has no right thumb, or no right great toe, or who has no right ear, has no purification ever.

Halacha 2

A leper's guilt-offering that was slaughtered under another name, or from whose blood none was placed upon the thumb and the toe, nevertheless goes up upon the altar and requires libations like the libations of a leper's guilt-offering; and the leper requires another guilt-offering to make him fit.

Halacha 3

If he offered his sin-offering before his guilt-offering, no one should stir its blood to keep it from congealing; rather it is left until its form is spoiled, and it goes out to the place of burning.
