Halacha 1

Wine that was poured as a libation to idolatry is forbidden for benefit, and one who drinks of it, any amount whatever, is flogged by Torah law. And likewise one who eats any amount whatever of what has been offered to idolatry, whether of flesh or of fruit — even water and salt — one who eats of them any amount whatever is flogged, as it is said (Deuteronomy 32:38), "who ate the fat of their sacrifices, drank the wine of their libations; let them rise up," and so forth.

Halacha 2

Wine that was poured as a libation to it is like a sacrifice that was offered to it; and since this prohibition is on account of idolatry, it has no minimum measure, as it is said concerning the worship of the stars and the constellations (Deuteronomy 13:18), "and nothing of the devoted thing shall cleave to your hand."

Halacha 3

The wine of gentiles, of which we do not know whether it was poured as a libation or was not poured as a libation — and this is what is called setam yeinam — is forbidden for benefit, like wine that was poured as a libation. And this matter is among the decrees of the Scribes. And one who drinks a quarter-log of setam yeinam is struck with lashes of rebellion.
