Chapter 25 of 25 in Defilement by a Corpse — 12 halachot
Halacha 1
A pillar that stands within the house with compressed impurity beneath it — the impurity breaks through and rises and breaks through and descends, and it conveys impurity only to what is opposite the impurity. And if there was an ornamental flower projecting from this pillar and vessels beneath the flower, the vessels are pure, since it conveys impurity only to what is opposite the impurity.
Halacha 2
And if there is in the place of the impurity a handbreadth by a handbreadth by a handbreadth in height, it is as a sealed grave and conveys impurity from all around it; and the whole house is impure, since it has overshadowed the grave.
Halacha 3
Impurity that is within a wall, the place of which is a handbreadth by a handbreadth by a handbreadth in height — all the upper storeys that are built upon this wall, even ten, are impure; for the whole wall is a sealed grave up to its end, and it is the wall of the upper storeys, and every one of these upper storeys is overshadowing the grave. If he built a house at the side of the wall on this side and a house on that side, and built an upper storey above the two houses, so that the top of the impure wall is found to be in the middle of the floor of the upper storey — the upper storey is impure, since it has overshadowed the grave. And the second upper storey that is built above it is pure, since they are one above the other and the impure wall is not its wall.
