Section 10 of 35 in Yitro — 3 segments
Segment 1
The mystery of the ears. One whose ears are large: folly is in his heart, and madness in his spirit. One whose ears are small and stand in their place: he is openminded of heart, and quick to be roused; he desires to apply himself to everything. And the mystery of this is the letter Yod, which is included in all the rest of the letters.
Segment 2
So far, the mysteries of the forms of man. From here onward, other mysteries in the letters of the Master, which do not stand in the countenance, but are for knowing the mysteries of this verse among the supernal grades, in the times and the mighty ones of this world — and we have not been found worthy of them.
Segment 3
R. Simeon said: ‘My sons, happy are you in this world and in the world to come; and happy are my eyes, that they will be worthy to see this when I enter that world to come. For my soul calls to the Ancient of Days this verse: “You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You have anointed my head with oil, my cup runs over” (Ps. 23, 5). And the Holy One, blessed be He, calls concerning us: “Open the gates, that the righteous nation that keeps faith may enter in” (Isa. 26, 2).’
