רָקִיעַ דְּקַאמְרָן דְּקַיְּימָא עַל גִּנְתָּא, אִיהִי קַיְּימָא עַל ד' רֵישֵׁי חֵיוָון, וְאִינּוּן ד' אַתְוָון (רי"א ע"א) דְּקָאָמְרָן, אִינּוּן רָזָא דְּד' חֵיוָן. וְהַאי רְקִיעָא קַיְּימָא לְתַתָּא (ס"א עלייהו), כְּמָה דְּאִתְּמַר. רָקִיעַ דְּהַהִיא נְקוּדָה, קַיְּימָא לְעֵילָּא, עַל אִינּוּן ד' חֵיוָון עִלָּאִין דְּקָאָמְרָן, וְהַהוּא רְקִיעָא (כגוונא דא מן דא) אִיהוּ אִתְרְקָם בִּגְוָונִין קַדִּישִׁין.

The firmament overspreading the Garden of Eden is supported by the heads of the four Holy Beasts, who are symbolized by the four letters referred to above. There is, besides, a lower firmament on the pattern of the upper firmament. This firmament is embroidered with all divine colours,

Segment 2ב׳

בְּהַאי רָקִיעַ אִסְתַּכְּלָן אַרְבַּע חֵיוָון, וְכָל אִינּוּן חַיָּילִין לְתַתָּא. כַּד הַאי רָקִיעַ אַנְהִיר בִּגְוָונוֹי וְנָצִיץ, כְּדֵין יַדְעִין כָּל אִינּוּן רְתִיכִין, וְכָל אִינּוּן חַיָּילִין וּמַשִׁירְיָין, דְּהָא טַרְפָּא דִּילְהוֹן אִזְדָּמַן. רְקִיעָא דָּא מְרֻקְּמָא בְּכָל גַּוְונִין קַדִּישִׁין, בֵּיהּ קַיְימִין אַרְבַּע פִּתְחִין רְשִׁימִין, בְּאַרְבַּע אַתְוָון מְנַצְצָן.

and it possesses four portals marked respectively by four scintillating letters.

Segment 3ג׳

פִּתְחָא חֲדָא רְשִׁימָא לִסְטַר מִזְרָח, וּבֵיהּ קַיְּימָא בְּהַהוּא פִּתְחָא אָת חַד, וְהַהוּא אָת אִיהוּ א', וְדָא נָצִיץ וְסָלִיק וְנָחִית בְּהַאי פִּתְחָא. פִּתְחָא דָּא נָהִיר וְנָצִיץ מִנְצִיצוּ עִלָּאָה. וְהַאי אָת נָצִיץ וּבָלִיט (ס"א ולהיט) בְּגַוֵיהּ, וְאִיהִי נַחְתָּא וְסַלְּקָא, וְאִתְרְשִׁים בְּהַהוּא פִּתְחָא.

One portal is to the east, having stamped on it the letter aleph, which scintillates and constantly moves up and down.
