Section 32 of 32 in Vaetchanan — 8 segments
Segment 1
Matnitin (our teaching). To you, sons of men, masters of wisdom, masters of understanding, a voice calls. Who among you has grown wise and knows, at the hour when the white head set the head in order, an impress from above downward and from below upward? It set the north side in order, with the crowning of the kunarita; in it is impressed the depth of the supernal abyss, which ascends and descends within it. One hidden grade descended, in a thousand and five hundred impresses, of a thousand and five hundred worlds.
Segment 2
(Dan. 4, 9) “Under it one beast of the field had shadow”, (Dan. 7, 7) “and it had ten horns.” And behold, the beast had eyes like the eyes of a man, and a mouth speaking great things. When it ascends, it goes by day and is hidden by night; when it descends, it is hidden by day and goes by night. When it journeys, the four shovels that are held in its hands are shaken. And sixty lashes of fire journey with it, each one with a sharpened sword upon his thigh.
Segment 3
It arose in the will to bring forth man, a ruler below. He set in order within this beast one fine dust, comprised of all. He blew into it; it spread out into the four sides of the world. And four lashes were rolled: one above, one below, one to the north, one to the south.
