זוהר, פנחס ח׳Zohar, Pinchas 8

Segment 1א׳

אָמַר רִבִּי חִיָּיא לְרִבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, אִלֵּין יוֹמִין, מֵרֹאשׁ הַשָּׁנָה עַד יוֹמָא בַּתְרָאָה דְּחַג, בָּעֵינָא לְמֵיקָם עָלַיְיהוּ. אָמַר רִבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, הָא אִתְּמַר וְחַבְרַיָּיא אִתְעָרוּ בְּהוּ. אָמַר רִבִּי חִיָּיא, וַדַּאי הָכִי הוּא, אֲבָל אֲנָא שְׁמַעְנָא לְבוּצִינָא קַדִישָׁא עִלָּאָה מִלָּה בְּהוּ. אָמַר לֵיהּ, אֵימָא הַהוּא מִלָּה. אָמַר לֵיהּ עַד לָא קָאִימְנָא בֵּיהּ. אָמַר רִבִּי אֶלְעָזָר, אַף עַל גַּב דְּחַבְרַיָּיא אוֹקְמוּ מִלָּה, וְשַׁפִּיר הוּא, אֲבָל סִדּוּרָא דְּהָנֵי יוֹמֵי, רָזָא דְּחָכְמְתָא הוּא, בֵּין מְחַצְּדֵי חַקְלָא.

R. Hiya said to R. Eleazar: These days, from New Year to the last day of the Festival — I wish to understand them. Said R. Eleazar: It has been said, and the Companions have discoursed on them. Said R. Hiya: Surely it is so; but I heard a word concerning them from the supernal Holy Lamp. He said to him: Say that word. He said to him: I have not yet grasped it. Said R. Eleazar: Although the Companions have explained the matter, and it is well, yet the order of these days is a mystery of wisdom among the reapers of the field.

Segment 2ב׳

תָּא חֲזֵי, הָא אִתְּמַר סִדּוּרָא דְּיִחוּדָא כֹּלָּא בְּחַד הֵיךְ הֲוִי. וְהָא אִתְּמַר. פָּתַח וְאָמַר, (ישעיהו נ״ב:י׳) חָשַׂף יְיָ אֶת זְרוֹעַ קָדְשׁוֹ, דָּא דְּרוֹעָא חֲדָא, דְּבֵיהּ תַּלְיָא יְשׁוּעָה, דְּבֵיהּ תַּלְיָא נוּקְמָא, דְּבֵיהּ תַּלְיָא פּוּרְקָנָא. וְלָמָּה, לְמֵיקָם לָהּ לְכְנֶסֶת יִשְׂרָאֵל מֵעַפְרָא, וּלְקַבְּלָא לָהּ לְגַבֵּיהּ, לְאִזְדַוְּוגָא כַּחֲדָא. וְכַד הַאי אִתְעַר לְקַבְּלָהּ, כַּמָה דְּחִילוּ שַׁרְיָא בְּעָלְמָא, עַד דְּיָנַח הַהוּא דְּרוֹעָא תְּחוֹת רֵישָׁהָא לְאִתְחַבְּרָא. כְּמָה דְּאַתְּ אָמַר, (שיר השירים ב׳:ו׳) שְׂמֹאלוֹ תַּחַת לְרֹאשִׁי וְגוֹ', וּכְדֵין נַיְיחָא דִּינָא, וּמְכַפֵּר חוֹבִין.

Observe: it has been said how the order of the unification is, all in one; and it has been said. He opened and said: “The Lord has made bare His holy arm” (Isa. 52, 10). This is one arm, on which salvation depends, on which vengeance depends, on which redemption depends. And why? To raise the Community of Israel from the dust and to receive her to Himself, to be joined together. And when this one is roused to receive her, much fear dwells in the world, until that arm is laid under her head to be joined; as you say, “His left hand is under my head,” etc. (S. S. 2, 6). And then judgement is at rest, and sins are atoned.

Segment 3ג׳

לְבָתַר אָתֵי יְמִינָא לְחַבְּקָא, כְּדֵין חֶדְוָותָא שַׁרְיָיא בְּעָלְמָא, וְכָל אַנְפִּין נְהִירִין. לְבָתַר אִזְדַוְּוגַת בְּגוּפָא, וּכְדֵין כֹּלָּא אִקְרֵי אֶחָד, בְּלָא פִּרוּדָא, כְּדֵין הוּא שְׁלִימוּ דְּכֹלָּא, וְחֶדְוָותָא דְּכֹלָּא, וְאָחִידוּ ודַּאי, מַה דְּלָא אִשְׁתְּכַח הָכִי בִּשְׁאַר זִמְנֵי.

Afterwards the right comes to embrace, and then joy dwells in the world, and all faces shine. Afterwards she is joined with the body, and then all is called One, without separation. Then it is the perfection of all and the joy of all, and the bond holds assuredly — which is not found so at other times.
